Is this good for matte screen protectors, like the cover won’t wear down?

Hey so if your asking if the paper-like surface of the screen protector will wear down because of the metal tip, it does a little bit. It doesn't eat all the way through the screen protector, but I noticed that the center area of mine is definitely smoother than the margins where you don't do any writing at all. You can tell the pencil tip has less friction when you're writing in that spot but it's not awful, I still think it writes better than the stock plastic tip

Will this new design be more durable than the previous fine-tipped tips you had? I had the previous style and the plastic around the metal broke.

I'm pretty heavy-handed when it comes to writing, would this scratch my screen even if I have a Paperlike screen protector?

I can only answer from my experience. I’m pretty heavy handed with shading and have not scratched, damaged, or punctured my paper feel screen protector.. nor have I bent the tip on my Apple Pencil. Good thing is you get a package of two.

Personal preference is all it really comes down to. Some want designs for the color splash and some prefer simple. I chose simple because it matches more colors so it’s more versatile to me. Hope I helped some!
