28-100 1-3/16" inch High Visibility Mini-Razor Blade Scraper

I was undecided, so I bought this scraper along with another: Titan Mini Scraper, Model# 12031 Both are sturdy, high-density plastic, both hold the razor firmly in place, and both work with any generic razor. The main thing the more expensive Titan scraper has over this one is that it's a little bigger and more ergonomic, which makes it easier to grip. It also has a cap, which means you don't need to flip the razor around to store it safely; you can just cap it. The convenience is nice if you use it a lot. Overall, I'd recommend this one if you need a small scraper for tight spaces or if you just don't plan to use it that often. It's less than a quarter the cost of the Titan one too, so this is a good choice if you need to order a bunch of them.

I think this type of scraper is typically used to remove glasstop stove spills. My application, however is significantly different. I use it to remove 3D printed objects from the printer I got my first 3D printer several weeks ago. It works by melting ABS plastic which looks like string trimmer string. It layers the melted plastic on a glass platform to form an object. This works well but removing the printed object from the glass platform proved to be a challenge. The object needs to "stick" to the platform during printing or it will not form correctly. A worthless plastic "scraper" was provided but it didn't work. I then tried a putty knife with a metal blade, but it didn't work either. Using a single edge razor blade, I was able to get its thin blade under a corner or two and the object would "pop" off. The problem with this technique is that it's hard to put pressure on the blade and steer it at the same time. So, this scraper was the solution. It's easy to load and I don't bother to reverse the blade when I'm done. No cuts so far!

Love it for electric stove top cleaning

I ordered 2 Stanley Wigets (Mini Razer blade scrapers). They were shown to be packaged and new. As you can see by my picture I did receive one new in a sealed packet. The other was loose in the mailing envelope and appears dirty and maybe used. I will not be returning these as I hope the loose one will be ok. I am just disappointed with this seller. If I need any more I will purchase from another seller. I first one I bought a couple of weeks ago was from Amazon and it was new and in a Stanley package. They did not offer one this time so I had to buy from a different seller. The rating is for the seller, not the product. The Widget is a great little cutter. and I would give it 5 stars. I keep one in my kitchen drawer and one in my computer desk. They are very useful in opening packages much faster and easier than using scissors.

I needed this to get the algae of the inside of my fish tank. The expected delivery date was August 13-18, I recieved it on the 13th, before Amazon even got to notify me. I am very pleased and so far satisfied with this product. Update- Okay, I finally used this and it worked perfectly! I didn't even have to use any effort; the algae peeled right off! Note- I had tried scrubbing the algae off before with fish tank scrubbers and sponges, could not get any of it off so this little tool did the job!

This is one of those gadgets that is great to have in the house at all times, but I didn't have one when I wanted to remove a sticker from the back windshield of my car, so I ordered this one. I'm a demo kind of person, so I made a video showing me using this product to remove the sticker. Before starting the video, I had not practiced first, so you can see on the video I was a little unsure of what I was doing at first. Then I got the hang of it. That sticker on my car took me about 10 minutes to remove, so not that bad for a sticker that was on my car for years. I just wet the sticker and scraped, then peeled off in pieces. The blade did not scratch or damage my window at all, and it did manage to get every little bit of the sticker off. When finished, you press a "button" (I'm not really sure what to call it) and the blade comes loose, where you can turn it upside down to store it so that the sharp blade is not sticking out. Just make sure you completely close it up again, so the blade doesn't come loose and fall out in the bottom of your tool cabinet. It seems this blade could be really easy to lose if you're not careful with securing it after opening it up. This item is so inexpensive and seems like it would be good for so many things around the house. It's reusable, so it is now in my tool cabinet for the next time I need it, but I may even consider getting a couple more, or getting one for my son who just moved into his own place.

Very useful for around the house. Compact, durable, easy to store blade safely. Replacement blades are readily available and cheap.

I have used this razor for cutting the plastic wrap on supplement bottles and the paper or foil used to seal bottles which sometimes is hard to get off I just make an "X" through the seal and peel it off. I've also used it whenever I need to scrape something off that needs a thin blade to do the job whether it is paint or some stuck on gooey stuff. I had used this thing for so many years that I had forgotten the manufacturer all I knew was that it was called a "widget"I somehow lost it so I tried to find another one and no one in the home stores knew what I was talking about and they didn't have it so when that happens I go to Amazon and sure enough I found it. I'll probably buy another one just in case I lost this one I've come to depend on it so much. I noticed it doesn't come with a plastic cover like mine did it really should so that it can be put in a draw without concern of being accidentally cut by it.

Excellent, very useful

This item is so useful in so many ways. If you have a glass top stove this is very handy to get off any baked on stains. Removing tape is a very easy job with this. Can also be very handy for removing excess silicone sealant. It is a scraper and a knife. You can even use it to open your amazon deliveries.

Very cool little scraper that let's you pop in razor blades quickly and easily. Small size is convenient for working in small areas. Bright yellow sticks out on a crowded work bench!
