Review: Highly satisfied - I bought this book for additional study material for my son. The content is not too difficult but it's sufficient for fifth graders. I like it bc my kid doesn't feel stressed doing the extra work. Review: Well content - The book is good

Good book- just maybe not for my child’s attention span
Firstly, it’s a good thing this book is teaching math and not Language Arts. This one page is an example of multiple grammatical errors in this book. Secondly, at first the book was great and easy to understand for my fifth grader. As the lessons progressed, the explanations became less clear. There’s a photograph of one page where she was stuck because it doesn’t make any sense to her. If you aren’t very well versed in fifth grade math yourself, don’t expect it to teach your child/student fifth grade math. But I started at the beginning of the lesson and was able to figure it out. Each lesson builds on the last so don’t expect to hop in on lesson five and understand what is going on. It’s explanations are not easy to understand if you assign just one or two pages each time. It’s progression needs to be completed all in one sitting if you have a “forgetful” child like mine.
