Mild but flavorful
Fantastic cheese. It's ever so creamy. More mild taste but still flavorful. Note: I'm not a fan of sharp Cheddar unless it's melted.

if you like cheddar cheese this is the product for you - sure it is 5 pounds but you can freeze some for later the taste is outstanding and if you bought the same product in a grocery store it would cost 3x as much wonderful product!!

You can not go wrong
This is the BEST! YUM! My family loves cheese biscuits. Hubby takes the cheese and cuts the round in quarters and seals it in the air sealer bags. Lasts a long time, not that it needs to around here. It is so good!I went to buy another one and see the price increase. I thought $61 was high but it is very good, so I paid it. $69 may have me thinking I need to find another cheddar cheese. $14 a pound now...I'll have to give this some thought. Now it is $75, Why does the price keep going up?

Delicious hoop cheese
What a great thing to store in your basement during a pandemic so you never run out of cheese! My 9 year old LOVES this cheese and wants no other cheese now. It stores for up to a year (unless its cut) and melts beautifully. Amazon has a good price unless you are ordering in bulk, in which case ordering directly from the company will get you free shipping and a lower total price.

Not the flavor I was looking for.
It cuts like cheese. It tastes like cheese. It is very mild chedder tasting cheese. It is not medium or sharp cheese. It is a hard cheese.. I can't justify paying $61.00 for this almost zero flavor when I can pay for shredded 5lb packages of Sharp cheddar for 13-15 dollars at my local grocer. I give this a 1 star.The above is my initial observation. Since cutting and storing in the referigerator. I have found that the outside of the wheel has more flavor than the inside. Also, that storing it has improved the flavor somewhat. Still the expense is way outside of my ability to say this is a good purchase. Since the flavor has improved, I have upped my review to 3 stars. The flavor has improved enough to justify this.
