This lock fit and looks exactly like the locks on my windows. They also seem to be made with stronger materials so shouldn't break. Very easy to replace

Did not know these where even available until I just thought (well I'll see). I had bought a house that had a broken latch. No big deal, the other one worked. Then about a month later it broke. Found these on Amazon and seen that there are at least two differant measurements between the mounting screws. I measured my old ones and ordered accordingly. Mine came with screws that where smaller than what came out of my window frame but the holes in the latches worked with my slightly larger screws. Super easy install and they work just like they should. Take about a minute and a phillips screw driver to replace.

The Prime-Line F 2590 Sash Lock was a perfect replacement for the latch that came with my home's vertical sliding windows. One of the original latches was bent, and threatening to shear away, and this latch worked perfectly. The dimensions were exactly as described, it fit so exact that you wouldn't know it was a replacement, and it even latches better than before. The window closed and latched securely. It is a nice value for the money, and I would definitely buy it again.

The metal sash lock holes lined up perfect with the original pennco plastic locks that came with the house. The only thing is that these come with 3/4 in #8 screws. I had to go buy 1 in screws to grab the window. Painted the tops white with a detailing pen. No big deal

This part worked great as a replacement for my Larson door. The existing sash lock was poor at keeping top sash of glass door secure. I had to drill a couple of holes in frame to accommodate new sash, but after 15 mins this new lock did a superior job of holding/securing top sash.

Well made. The lock part is a bit too thick for my window but enough fits in to "lock" the window. I did use my original screws as the included ones were too long. Happy with the product as a replacement for my old aluminum sliding window's lock. Probably buy more for the other windows in the house soon.

These window locks for my sliding side-by-side windows worked perfectly. They have very reasonable cost and they do a good job and they’re super easy to replace.
