UPDATE 2/1/23: I left my “less driven” Ford Fusion parked for 8 months. I expected I would need my GooLoo. Opened the box and the GooLoo was still at 100% charge, even after 6+ months. After some efforts to just get inside the car to open the hood, I attached the booster, dead battery , so I pressed BOOST. The Ford spun very fast and started right up! Then, it stopped running and I heard the GooLoo beeping. It was in a current overload state. I reset the GooLoo and started the car, 10 seconds later, it stopped again and the booster was beeping. Over heated, needing 10 minutes to “rest” and reset. So, I attached traditional booster cables, and discovered that the Ford battery was COMPLETELY DEAD, no voltage and no spark! I let my new car “charge” the Ford for about 30 minutes. I went to start it, and it turned over much slower than when I boosted it with the GooLoo, but this time, it remained running. CONCLUSION: The GooLoo is not designed to “charge” a dead battery. (No surprise there.) But, I was really shocked at how well it worked, even with a totally dead, zero voltage battery! I’m more impressed now than I was before. As I write this update, I’ve got the Ford charging and I will be driving it later today. DURING THIS EVENT, THE BOOSTER DROPPED TO 93%, still enough to boost a few more times! I’ll charge the GooLoo back to 100% and put it away for the next time it’s needed. Excellent purchase and excellent value! ————————————- ORIGINAL REVIEW: I’ve been a diesel mechanic all my life, migrating to technology systems engineering decades ago. 2 months after we purchased a high end luxury SUV, we went on an extended cruise. 10 days later, we returned to our SUV at LAX. Yes, dead battery! (Another story as to why!) I was naked with no tools, volt meter, or any way of diagnosing the status of the battery. 2 hours later, after 3 separate roadside service attempts, we were finally running and on our way home. I NEEDED A SOLUTION, ON BOARD, FOR THIS PROBLEM! Something I could leave in the car, just in case. After much research, I selected this higher amperage Lithium Ion type of portable booster. Coincidentally, 1 day after receiving this GooLoo booster, my next door neighbor left their SUV, not driven for 2 months, run down its battery. I tested the GooLoo 3000 GT on it. The battery had drained to 7.5vdc (dead battery). Using boost override, overheating, 10 minutes, boost again, reset, boost again, and finally, after the GooLoo had “charged” the battery sufficiently, the big SUV started. 25 minutes later, there was about 30% remaining in the GooLoo! I then put my standard battery charger on the car to charge overnight. So, it really works! Having the actual booster battery status is a real advantage as well. I now carry the 3000GT with us when we travel, just in case. I use a 65 watt type C USB wall charger with a high quality type C USB cable, (both ends), and it will charge the 3000GT in about 3-4 hours from 0%. It will stay fully charged for weeks, and because of the status display, it’s easy to check the internal battery status before each trip. Technology advancements make this an amazing value and solution for “jump starting” today’s high current demand vehicles. Our problem was a parasitic current draw that was undetected when the SUV was driven regularly. The GooLoo 3000GT is part of my tools for just such emergencies. I’m purchasing a 2nd unit for my other car. No more jumper cables for me.

Bought this the 8-Sep-2022, decided I would not do a review until it has been tested and proven. Today 11-Jan-2023 I assisted a third person by providing a jump start with this device. I have never used it to jump any of my cars because I have not developed any battery problems as yet, however I will not own a car and not have a jump starter, a spare tyre, jack, or lug tool. Anyways, after providing the jump, the batter status on my Gooloo only fell to 96%, bare mind this is after starting three (3) cars. This is extremely excellent. This starter is fully recommended, it is 100% genuine and it comes with every piece of accessory that gears you towards a successful operation. Very stable internal battery system and it really delivers a powerful punch. What I love about the Gooloo is that it does not only start you car if the car battery is just in a minor drain mode. It will star your car if the car battery is completely dead, which is the key purpose of a jump starter. Some jump starter will only start your car if the battery is halfway dead. This Gooloo start your car on a completely dead battery and that's what you really want. NOTE: Bare in mind, when your battery is dead, a jump starter is not jumping your battery, it is providing current to your starter that the car battery is not providing. hence you need a powerful jump starter such as this to power up your starter in turning over your motor and that's exactly what this Gooloo does. HIGHT NOTE: IF YOU SHOULD EVERY GO TO START YOUR CAR AND FOR SOME REASON YOUR BATTERY HAS BEEN STOLEN (YES IT CAN HAPPEN). IF YOU HAVE ONE OF THIS GOOLOO IN YOUR BOOT AREA OR JUST ABOUT ANYWHERE, REST ASSURE YOU WILL BE FEELING MUCH BETTER KNOWING THAT YOUR CAR IS STILL ABLE TO START. SUPER WONDERFUL. GOSLIN G.

I very much like the design and screen this device. I'm shocked it is so light weight (under 4 lbs). It got a good test the first time I used it to jump start a car that had a very dead battery after it hadn't been started for 9 months. I read the instructions (important!), followed them, and the car started like a champ the first time I tried it. I purchased it after it was recommended to me by some gentlemen who really know their automotive products well. They stated it lasts a long time unused after charging when stored in a car for a while. The instructions on it say not to allow the battery charge level (which is clearly readable) to get below 20% and the device should be recharged at least every 3 months which is not a problem. It is solid, made of good quality materials (even its box). I expect it to work well for a long time.

I have a 2002 Chevrolet Silverado that needs a jump every now and then. Well, that now & then happened again so I ordered this from Amazon and got it the next morning via Prime. I used this portable jump starter right out of the box and it started my Silverado (1500) without a problem; I am impressed how easy this was to use. I haven't used it any more than as a means to jump my truck, but by the looks of it, it will come in handy with its easy to recharge features and the many ports to charge whatever I have that needs charging. You can recharge this battery right from your cigarette lighter port (or whatever its called nowadays) with the provided charging cord; it also comes with various cords plus the auto battery clamps that plug directly into this battery and attaches to your 12V auto battery. If you are looking at this product, it means you're in the market....just get it, you will be happy you did and mad at yourself if you don't.
