100% acrylic NOT cotton
I bought this after searching for 100% cotton blanket, so I'm annoyed to see the care label is 100% acrylic, but I will keep it as it is a nice colour and I can use it for decoration. However when you're menopausal the difference between cotton and man-made is important so I will check more carefully in future.

Lovely colour blanket. A lot of the 'green' blankets are a bluey green, i needed a true green to match my curtains!It is very lightweight, which I was aware of from other reviews, also the diamond pattern is only on one side- which is actually fairly common in knit or knit style patterns. Its not a blanket for keeping warm, but its lovely for decorative purposes.I just needed it to put over a chair which doesn't match my colour scheme and I'm very happy with it
