While it is a bit noisy, the nailer works perfectly on the pine flooring I am installing. I did buy 2 off-brand batteries that work with it fine. Time will tell if the batteries have the stated 8AH, but the batterries are not part of the nailer, they were bought separately. The size is comperable to other nailers. Weight is fine, easy to manage and heavy enough that there is no rebound. It is easy to ensure the nails are going into the correct spot on the wood. A good, solid nailer as I would expect from DeWalt.

Great product. DeWALT tools have never let me down. Best tools for DIY or professionals. Some will argue Milwaukee is better, but I prefer the black and yellow.

This is truly a great tool. It works reliably and smoothly, feels good in the hand, and isn’t too heavy — around 6 pounds with the battery. The balance and ergonomics are excellent, making it comfortable to use all day. One of the main advantages is battery life. With a 2.0Ah battery it drives up to 800 nails, and with a 5.0Ah — over 2,000. I haven’t counted exactly, but it feels like the charge lasts half a workday without recharging. Very convenient. It has enough power for any trim work — baseboards, casings, door frames, etc. Drives nails accurately, no jams. Switching between single-shot and bump-fire mode is quick and easy. Depth adjustment is also simple — just turn the wheel on top. If you’re looking for a reliable, cordless finish nailer, this DeWalt DCN660 will meet your expectations. Highly recommended!

East to use, versatile and adjustable. Very easy to adjust the nail depth. I used it to install chair rail moulding and it looks like the work of a professional. I'm very pleased with my purchase.
