Brilliant
I bought this product from Home and Roost having previously had a terrible experience buying a cardboard whelping box elsewhere. For a few pounds more I now have a strong, sturdy, safe and reusable whelping box. The box consists of four pieces of ply wood and four pig bars, it took five minutes to put together, you will need screws and there are no instructions but it’s so easy. There is no bottom, I laid some tarp on the floor followed by cardboard then another sheet of tarp, towels and pee pads. The frame of the box holds everything nicely in place. The Hutch Company were excellent to deal with as a seller, I contacted them in a panic as I needed a whelping box urgently and they dispatched it immediately and it arrived by courier in less than 24 hours NO delivery charge. I couldn’t be happier, they were everything you should expect from a professional seller. Word of warning avoid the cardboard versions and avoid a company called Pet Nap.

Not great quality, but at this price point I shouldn't complain I guess
Great customer service. Had an issue with damage in transit, but got replacement for next day. James was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. Thank you

Really good product happy with the price on average the same price as anywhere else delivered on time and as expected would recommend

Hard to put together as screws wouldn't go in. Splinters on bars. Not finished well.
Not well finished I got splinters from the bars and they were sharp. Had to borrow a neighbours electric screwdriver as it was impossible to get the screws in manually. I wish I'd bought a softer box. I don't recommend.

Whelping box
Great whelping box, Ideal size for my cocker and 5 pups.

Hmmm, could be better.
It's ok I suppose but rough and sharp edges. Use gloves to assemble otherwise you'll get splinters. Also maybe worth getting some sandpaper so you can round off the edges. Expected a better finish for what is effectively 4 bits of (thin) ply & 4 lengths of wood.

Good whelping box
Easy to put together. Never had one without a floor before but i like it because you can put a blanket underneath and the bitch cant ruffle it up and bury her pups. I will need to gloss paint it though so it can be wiped down easier.
