the quality went downhill over years. third kettle did not last even a year!
bought it again in January 2025. It stopped working in september! Does not start heating water, just says 'sorry'. It was third kettle of this kind i bought. First one still operates nicely after 10+ years. The build quality was great! The second one was bought in 2021, after COVID supply chain issues. That lasted 3 years and died end of 2024. It died exactly like the third one. So I suspect something happened with manufacturing quality around year 2021 and now they dont even last one year! Will have to switch to some chinese models which provide better functionality at a fraction of the price of Cuisinart. And hopefully do not break after few months

Stopped working after 1.5y
Product was working great for the first year and a half, but now sometimes won’t start for no reason. It acts as if it will boil but then never starts. Very strange.

Button not properly working
The kettle has nice features, it’s metall and hasteperature options. However, in less than a year and I have to switch on button couple of times for it to start to work. Would not expect that for the price

The kettle's opening button broke after two months! I don't recommend it! It's an expensive kettle that's not worth $50 for its quality.

Looks stylish, useful temperature indicator
Looks stunning, lovely metallic rose colour and super smooth and easy to clean. Was a bit unsure about the switching temperature feature, but it automatically boils to 100 degrees and you can switch to 85 degrees by pressing the temp you want. Useful that it lets you know the temperature at all times so you may not have to reboil... And useful to know when it's cool enough to use for the hot water bottle! Boils quickly and quietly and makes a beeping noise when it has boiled which I have found useful.

Stopped working after 1 year. I originallu gave this 5 stars but it stoppe work a little over a year after purchase, Amazon refunded price.
