Awesome!!!
Wow - just wow! I'm not a person who knows a lot about tech but I love gadgets. This is my second projector, and as much as I loved my first one, this thing is leaps and bounds past it. It's so bright compared to my old one and the resolution is stunning. I kept seeing reviews where people were saying it was okay with ambient light but would be better in a dark room so I was pleasantly surprised to turn it on and realize that I could have an excellent picture in a room with quite a bit of light (I'm one of those weirdos who can't watch in the dark or I'll just fall asleep). I haven't tried it with daylight coming in yet but, I have four 75 watt downward facing can lights in my living room and four 65 watt lights in my adjacent kitchen (all one big room) as well as a floor lamp with a 65 watt bulb. I keep all of them on most of the time. I dimmed the overheads ever so slightly in the living room area and the brightness of the projector is just amazing. My 48" Samsung will be collecting dust for the foreseeable future I'm afraid. One thing I've noticed with many projectors is that they claim to have a certain lumen output but the actual output is considerably less. The true lumen output to look for is the ANSI lumen output (see projectorcentral.com if you are curious about this). There are plenty of "3000 lumen" projectors that I've seen that aren't as bright as this one in actual use. I own a 106" high-gain gray screen but haven't tried it on that yet because I took it to my office for a presentation, so I'm assuming it will be even brighter with that. Currently I am using a 40" x 60" piece of matte white Foamcore and producing about a 65" image with excellent clarity and brightness. It would be great if the projector would play nice with some of the apps I use most (such as Amazon Prime) but I popped a Fire Stick in one of the HDMI inputs on the back and that problem was solved until some future firmware update allows use of some other apps (hopefully). I guess they have some licensing issues that need to be worked out. One cool trick - I took the short charging cable that came with the remote and fed it from the Fire Stick to the USB 3.0 connection to power it so there is no need to have an additional power cable going to the outlet and I didn't even have to buy another cable since it was provided (I have plenty of other longer cables to charge the remote with). It makes for a very clean install of the Stick. The sound from the Harman Kardon speakers is great and just fine for watching TV but, for action movies you may want to push the audio through a soundbar or other speaker just for some added oomph. I used the bluetooth to connect to an external speaker and it works very well. Sometimes it's better for movies to have the sound coming from the direction of the screen anyway. Set-up for this projector was a breeze and I was watching a Youtube clip within 5 minutes of turning the unit on. Also, the keystone correction is simple and very versatile. You can adjust from all four corners so it can even be sitting at an angle off to the side if you can't put the unit directly in front of the screen. I ordered the 3D glasses after the unit arrived so I haven't tried them yet, but supposedly you can even turn a 2D video into 3D with this projector. I've never cared much for 3D movies but still, it's cool to have the option. I'll update my review after I've had a chance to try them. I cant recommend this tiny wonder enough. It's like watching a huge LED television.

A Little Over a Year With Our New Family Member
I had spent LITERALLY years researching/YouTubing/fawning over projectors and reviews. I always had a proper 5.1 surround set up, as well as a decent library of movies and television, to warrant my infatuation with getting a projector. At first, it became an obsession over 720p LG offerings, because of the LED tech that was becoming more of a thing. I despise the situation of replacement bulbs, especially on a budget. I figured the potential of a 30,000 hour lifespan over a 4000 to 6000 hour bulb made more sense in the long run. *shrug* After a few models of the LG came, I started to notice the budget projectors on Amazon and reviews of them on YouTube. I learned about the Vivibright 100 and the Wowoto models. Mutch like the LG, they were stationary with no zoom or keystone, but they were well within what I expect projectors should be. I felt my dream of owning one getting closer, as the $200 - $400 price tag was well within my budget, but then I had a kid and never pulled the trigger. Last year, my old man passed away, and left me a some money to play with-- I mean help out with life. In the note he left, he said "Get yourself something, son", so I decided it was time. I hit the reviews on YouTube and Amazon like crazy, and after noticing the updated tech in the more expensive models I suddenly found myself available to afford, I found the XGIMI H1. Now, within a month of purchasing, the H2 dropped and you can imagine the egg on my face with the upped lumens and other better features. Regardless, I still made the best decision upon choices at the time, and it's been everything I've ever hoped. Movies, show binging, and gaming are all very solid. Gaming is probably the lessor, but at least lag is at a minimal. I'd be more apprehensive over the screen size vs actual latency, because of not being able to see everything at once, but I do utilize a 100'' screen, so that's understandable. If you had to put up a quick 50" image on a wall at a friend's or family's house, you'd be good. Movies and shows are where it's at with the H1. I admit, the onboard speakers are great and make me not NEED my Denon surround sound, but a theater experience is a theater experience, so the screen size and rumbling audio is next to baby making. The digital keystone feature is great. I love being able to adjust how I want. Word of the wise, however, get LED stripping for your screen. There can be blacked out ambient light around your screen, as the main picture is adjust to the fit perfectly. This feature leaves an effect that can be distracting if you're an OCD specialist as myself, so a very dim lamp on either side or aforementioned LED strips can make that a non issue. The bonus of this baby is the smart tech, with the ability to run Kodi. If you know Kodi, you know wassup. It powers and reads my 4gb Western Digital external drive with no issues via the USB 3.0. I URGE you to baby your remote. The build quality is great, but that causes an arrogance of thinking it's indestructible... or half a nunchuk. It's a great piece of hardware, but easy to lose or near irreplaceable if DOA after an "incident". There is an XGIMI app should you done goof, but it's like typing an Amazon review with one finger. Just... no. I'm very, very pleased with this product and very excited for this brand moving forward. I know things don't last, and I will get another XGIMI without question, and maybe well before this one kicks the bucket. The H3 is about to drop... NOW, GO GET ONE!!!

Good But .......
This item arrives beautifully packaged. A thing of art. I almost hated to take it out of the box, but I did. As beautifully packaged as it is, there was no manual. We had to Google everything. We could find no off and on button. We had to Google it to learn how to turn it on. We had to Google to figure out how to pair the remote control and so forth. It seems for $800, including a small booklet with this information would be helpful. The unit's picture is fine, the speakers and sound are fine, the headphone jack is acceptable. Just barely though. I have tried other units. I have found none with a headphone jack worth anything. I don't understand. Is it that expensive to put a headphone jack and hardware similar to what I find in every phone, pad, whatever I try? Some have headphone jacks you pretty much can't hear at all. The literature says Android Operating System, and I assume it is. I find the arrangement and menus somewhat clunky, but that's fine. I just want a unit I can listen to via headphones, and that I can watch the Apps and entertainment I already have. I can not do this with this unit. After finally finding the Google Playstore, I found it would not do my applications. It said they are incompatible. My apps won't run on this machine except for Netflix, at least so far. It has played Netflix. The Amazon App seems to work, but movies and shows shut down every time I hit the play button. I can open the app and it looks normal. I'll select something to watch, but every time I hit the play button it goes back to the Amazon menu. Nothing will play, and I see no error messages. The only one of my apps I can actually view on this machine is Netflix. When I try to put my cable company apps on so I can watch TV it says not compatible. That's what I bought it for. I pay hundreds for these stations. This is what I want to watch. This machine will not allow it. It says my cable station is not compatible. I have this App on several pads. Works fine. Not on this unit though. This machine has all kinds of apps. Mostly, they seem to be the only ones that work. That's great, but out of the many, many applications they have in their menus, there are very few I have any interest in. When it says Android OS, I assume I can go to the Playstore and download the apps I am currently using. The ones I already pay for and use. So far, I have only been able to do Netflix. I don't think its' worth keeping the machine if I can't get my cable stations or Amazon to work.

Fan Noise
Before buying this unit please understand what you will be getting into. The manufacturer resides in China and does not have a store or retailer within the United States. This unit is a great product but what good is a product if you cannot support its warranty promises. The unit contains a mechanical cooling fan which will eventually go bad sometime or another. The company does not work with its customers and assist them to get it repaired in appropriate and timely manner. They will give you the runaround as much as possible. They expect the customer to pay for the shipping ($100) to china for repairs. They will not send a replacement cooling fan so that the customer can have someone locally repair it. Also be ready to be without the unit for over a month and make other arrangements for your entertainment purposes. Please move on and continue your search for another projector device I would hate for another customer to go through troubles that I have been through. Please feel free to go to youtube and search for “XGIMI H1 fan noise” and experience for yourself how horrible this noise is and then be very discouraged about their customer support.

Great product
Absolutely loving my H1. It is as advertised. It took no time to set it up. I ended up falling asleep and leaving it on for an extended period of time about 27 total hours of constantly running from the time i turned it on till the time i finally turned it off. I was surprised to find it was completely cool to the touch. The speakers blew both my wife and I away i did not expect it to be so loud and clear. I was originally going to buy a wireless Bluetooth surround system to go along with the projector believe me when i say it is not needed. The picture is more then i expected and i expected a lot. I currently have it projecting on to a off painted wall in the living room and the picture is amazing, I could definitely understand a buyer not wanting to buy a screen. Its also pretty damn good during the day as well. The only issue we have noticed in the little time that we have had this little gem is that when we play Netflix on the projector sound starts immediately however, you have to skip back for the picture to come up. This to me is a minor inconvenience. Over all a great buy and i highly recommend. very portable you can go from room to room and change size to what ever suits your needs in a matter of seconds.

Love everything about XGIMI H1 projector
Wooow. This is the best portable full HD projector you can get in the market. I used YouTube to play 4K video and the picture quality is excellent. It has good Audio, it has good bass, and is decent enough for watching movies at home. And the audio works wonders in a closed room. Here are the pros and cons I have seen after few days of usage: 1. Excellent picture quality. I projected a 130' image on the wall. Projecting image in dark gives better picture quality 2. Good Audio with decent bass (sufficient for home use) 3. Can be used as a Bluetooth music player 4. Using mobile as the remote is very useful There are actually no cons about this projector. But I just want to mention few: Cons: 1. Manual auto focus. Can be done using the projector remote. 2. There is no volume button on the remote. You can use your smart phone as remote (which has volume option)

One of the best native 1080p 3d led projector, xgimi h1 image quality is bright, sharp and crisp.
""One of the best native 1080p 3d led projector, xgimi h1 image quality is bright, sharp and crisp. 3d effect is great in movies even games do work in 3d with 2d to 3d conversion through hdmi input. it's definitely a daytime projector. can be viewed even with the windows open in daylight or with the lights on in evening or at night. gaming experience is enjoyable with no noticeable input lag on cs:go or on other games. lots of options in menu to tune picture quality and brightness settings. highly recommended for those who want high quality projector with $700 price range budget""

Already failing... after just a few hours of use!
When the product works, it's brilliant. Excellent video quality, bright, focuses well, and easy to use. Unfortunately, mine randomly shuts off. This problem appears to be widespread, and despite XGIMI's advertising that they have excellent support... that's not the case. If you're considering purchasing this product, do yourself a favor and look at the social media reviews for XGIMI!

Buena calidad, pero SO mejorable
