I thought my cigarette socket had a loose connection - it was in a odd place in the ashtray of my van. Every time I plugged my phone in, the adapter was going on and off (mainly off). I thought I would try the Syncwire adapter before pulling out the dash to look at the wiring. To my delight, it worked solidly from the outset. It sits flush in the socket (important because space is limited where it is), immediately lit up, and has had my iPhone on charge the whole time it is plugged in. It is made nicely too - feels of premium quality.

So far, so good! This small but mighty power adapter fits neatly into a standard 12V car socket, and I can even close the cover with it plugged in - a nice bonus for a clean look. I’ve confirmed it charges my iPhone at 30W, though I haven’t yet tested it with a device that can pull the full 45W. In reply to one of the earlier (and quite hilarious) reviews for this product, and for anyone curious: using a voltage meter to test this device’s capability simply doesn’t work, since USB Power Delivery requires both the charger and the device to communicate. In my photo, you’ll see I used a tool designed specifically for testing PD chargers, and when I get the chance, I’ll try it with a more power-hungry device. Functionality-wise, it has both a USB-C and a USB-A port, which makes it versatile for just about any cable you might have. Durability remains to be seen since it’s still early days, but for charging my phone and other USB devices on the road, it looks like a solid choice.

Tested this with my Samsung S23 Ultra, and the USB-C port supports Super Fast Charging 2.0, it’s recognised instantly and charges quickly. The build quality is excellent, solid and premium-feeling, and it fits perfectly in my car’s socket. I can even close the flap with the charger plugged in, which isn’t possible with most others. Overall, a brilliant little charger - compact, well designed, and performs exactly as advertised.

Overall built quality feels great (definitely heavier than expected) and it has a small size as advertised barely sticking out from the plug. However, when using the USB connector it does not fast charge and sometimes barely charges at all at least not for me with my S23+. The USB-C connection also only provides Fast charging not Super Fast which it's advertised at. Overall, in the end it does the job but if it's really worth the high price I'm not convinced. For smaller phones the charging speed might be better but for bigger ones I would test it out.

Car Charger was smaller than expected, fits neatly about 5mm above the 12v supply also has a led light nice touch , Samsung phone recognises it as a fast Charger, a great improvement over standard in car Charger.

Very happy with this- it sits flush in the socket in the car, allowing a sprung cover in the car to close over it. Had also been considered whether it would be easy to remove and that is absolutely fine, the little folding handle is solid metal. USB C charging is noticeably faster than the USB A as is to be expected.
