This light strip is really cool. I was really surprised with how much you can change it up. There are lots of different colors and then you can also change the speed of flashing. The back does have sticky tape so that you can apply it and leave it stuck, but we have kept it on so that we can use it in different places. It can run off of batteries or you can plug it in using a usb plug. I am using it for christmas for lighting under the fake snow, it looks so cool. We are going to use it next for camping and I am thinking of ordering more to keep around the house for different uses. It works great as a night light it a kids bedroom.

These are the coolest decoration you can buy, because the light strip is so versatile! The best part is that you can connect multiple strips together and it is powered by a USB charger OR optional battery pack. It has several modes, colors and speeds and attaches to any surface as well. Will be buying at least 10 more to replace our Christmas light decorations! So easy to put up as well!

These lights are very good quality for the price. I don't know what the strip is made of, but it is kind of rubbery. The controls are located at the end of the strip and there are more colors than I thought there were. You can leave it on one single color or cycle through all of them. There is a button to control the speed of the flashing as well. According to the instructions, there are 19 different modes of flashing patterns and 8 levels of speed and brightness. These lights can be run with 3 aa batteries or you can use the USB attachment to plug them in, which I plan on doing. If you think the strip is too long, you can cut it in half and insert one of the included connector pieces into the end later so you can put it back together again if you want too. The back of the strip is peel and stick which can be useful, but for now I am going to leave it on so I can move the lights around whenever I want to.

Simple easy to use, plug and play into my t.v. without the battery box, alot of different color choices and brightness, comes with a sticky back and simple inline changer of colors and pattern. One picture is how I used to watch tv, the other one is easier on the eyes and nice to watch tv with

Upon arrival of the first order, red LEDs stopped functioning properly within 5 minutes of opening the product. Still technically functional, but with a limited color range. However, the seller offered a full replacement for free so as long as that new item is completely functional then there is no net loss and I can recommend this product. REVIEW UPDATE: Only a few months after receiving the replacement LED strip, it too has died, leaving me no choice but to update this review. I give it 2 stars because it did function for a few months, although it was being powered on for a maximum of 5 minutes per day. The strip still produces light, but ONLY solid red light, with no other color options and no flashing or other patterns. The attached image shows the product in it's only operational mode.

Used these for a night and a half at a Burn before the connection gave out and started blinking and changing color randomly. I used them inside of a scarf which might have caused the connection to be contaminated with fuzzies. When they did work I got lots of compliments on the brightness and range of color change. I really liked that the lights could either be powered by USB or battery pack and the remote was built in.

I bought these particular lights because of having both battery case and usb cable. I had intended to use them on my mobility walker for the holidays, but after opening it and looking at it, decided that was not best use, and instead mounted the tape around the outside edge of my 40" TV. I know people usually put these on the back of their TV, or under counters, shelves, etc. but I kind of like seeing the lights themselves, not just the light emitted. The adhesive sticks well. In fact, I first put them around the TV stand and didn't like it and removed them and re-stuck them around the edge of the TV, and it re-adhered with no issues, which was a pleasant surprise. I think I would prefer having some with a remote, which these do not have, but for my purposes it, it works well, as I just leave them on purple and steady light.
