Chef Knife Roll Bag

Bought this years ago for my husband who was a butcher and he loved it

Extremely durable and stylish I bought this for my sushi chef husband and he absolutely loves it. The price was the deal maker and it arrived in time as promised. Fits all of my husband's knives and tools. Couldn't ask for anything more.

The material, design and functionality of the bag is really good. Haven't had the bag for a long time but, the bag seems like it should hold up well.

Nice quality, especially for the price. Shipping time was a bit more than typical Amazon fare, but was indicated on sale. Feels and looks like a semi-fine leather, holds a lot of knives (8, I believe), though it will let them contact each other without some custom stitching to tailor the pockets to each knife handle or adding some knife sleeves as an option. I carry my Japanese fine knives and a few other real sharp, cheap all-purpose ones in it plus a sharpening rod with spaces between them and have no problems at all. There is a flap that folds down flat over the blades before rolling and a brass-zippered pouch on the left side for something like a towel or the like... maybe a medium sized sharpening stone. The two clasps outside once rolled have brass button-like nipples that fit into leather straps where holes have been cut out. There is also a carrying handle.

I prefer to keep my kitchen cutlery in a drawer. This product keeps them safe and protected AND gives me the opportunity to have all of my cutlery available at once when I unroll the bag on the countertop. It also allows me to take my tools with me when I travel to friends and their functions.

Well made and nice design but it smells like fish. Made my whole RV smell it is so bad. This was after leaving it open in the garage to air out for a week. Too late to return so I'm stuck with a product I can't use.

Not the material I expected. Flimsy. Knives will fall out if you aren’t extremely careful. Otherwise, good product.

I've been a Chef for 23 years and I've never had such a quality knife bag! This is everything I hoped it would be and the leather is soft and well crafted. It feels like a tool bag that my grandpa would have had, sturdy and made to last a lifetime. For the first week I had it, I kept noticing new reasons that set this knife bag apart. Like the handle is tear proof for those of us that are hard on equipment in such an elegant way and you can clip your sharpening rod to the carry strap and slip it in and out without having to open up the bag. I have very nice Japanese knives and someday I'll pass them along with this bag to my son!

Una bolsa muy bonita, muy útil y de una calidad muy buena, excelente para los cuchillos, aunque me gusta usar protectores en las hojas de los cuchillos para proteger y alargar más la vida útil dela bolsa. Muy recomendable.

Baja calidad, broches muy débiles, material débil y llegó sin la correa, lo que hizo mi experiencia más baja. Las costuras se ven mal alineadas y no da el espacio real para guardar los cuchillos.

I've been using this product for almost 2 months. The handel is riffed off and some are getting there too.

There’s no space between the pockets so you have to leave a space empty between knives so they don’t touch.

The zipper compartment is fairly small couldn’t really fit a lot in it. The bag also smelt like old fish when I got it in, let it sit out for a few weeks to see if the smell went away but it didn’t go away at all. Ended up returning it.
