No, it doesn't work on the carafe pods. Only the k-cup pods

I bought 1 pack with 2 cutters. I believe you have the option of buying 2 packs with 2 cutters in each pack.

The plastic is recyclable. The reason that most plastic that goes into a recycling bin ends up in a landfill is it wasn't prepped properly. The plastic needs to be separated and clean.

Do these work well with VitaCup k-cups?

Yes, I believe it is compatible with all brands of k-cups. It is not used in the coffee machine itself.
