KitchenCraft Stainless Steel Roasting Pan with Rack 27x20x5.5cm, Sleeved

This product is made in India. Based on what I have seen with this item and others, "Made in India" is a step down from "Made in China". Not that Chinese-made products are always of top quality, but this pan and rack seem to me to be of a lower standard of quality. The metal seems thinner and not to the same degree of finish as most Chinese-made pans. Both handles on mine are welded on crooked, and some of the rods that make up the rack are also noticeably crooked. There are little creases and dents here and there in the pan. Nothing that's a deal breaker, but a little disappointing. A magnet test showed that it is indeed stainless steel for both the pan and rack. It's a handy size that's great for cooking for one person.

Showed up with the bottom pushed upward. Going to be kind of hard to roast a roast in it as the rack doesn't rest on it's feet, but rather wobbling on the center. 0_o

Toller kleiner Bräter, ich nutze ihn viel auf dem Gasgrill fürs indirekte Grillen. Durch den Rost ist das Gargut vom Boden entkoppelt, und der Bratensaft sammelt sich unten im Bräter, verbrennt nicht im Grill, und lässt sich noch für ne Soße nutzen. Auch Schmorgemüse lässt sich super darin zubereiten. Die größe ist für 2 - maximal 4 Personen ideal, je nach Einsatzart ( Braten, Ribs oder Gemüse) und je nach Hunger. Die Reinigung klappt super, mit der Zeit bekommt er aber durch die große Hitze ein paar eingebrannte Flecken die sich nur schwer oder gar nicht mehr entfernen lassen. Das tut der Funktion aber keinen Abruch, nur als Schmuckstück nicht mehr zu gebrauchen, aber dafür ist es auch bei mir nicht gedacht. Auf Dauer auf jeden Fall günstiger und vor allem besser verwendbar als irgendwelche Aluschalen. Bei dem Preis kann man nix falsch machen.
