I recently purchased the Pawaboo Pet Carrier Backpack for my small dog, and it has quickly become an essential item for our outdoor adventures. Here’s my detailed review: Design and Comfort The design is both functional and adorable. The “legs-out” style ensures that my dog is secure yet comfortable, with plenty of ventilation to keep her cool during hikes. The adjustable straps allow for a snug fit, making it comfortable for me to wear for extended periods. The padding on the shoulder straps is decent but could be a bit thicker for better weight distribution. Ease of Use Getting my dog into the carrier was surprisingly easy. The zippers and Velcro openings work smoothly, and the adjustable straps allow for a custom fit for different body types. Once secured, my dog seemed relaxed and enjoyed the ride. Durability and Quality The material feels sturdy and well-made, capable of withstanding the occasional scratch or chew. The stitching appears durable, and the zippers glide smoothly without snagging. It’s also lightweight, which is a bonus for long trips. Versatility This backpack is ideal for various activities, from hiking to casual trips around town. I’ve even used it while biking. However, it’s crucial to measure your pet carefully before purchasing, as the fit depends on their dimensions. It might not work as well for pets with unusual body shapes. This is in my top 5 items I ever bought through Amazon! Getting her into the carrier, particularly her tail, was somewhat difficult. But then she didn't fight me while I alternated clipping and capping her claws and giving her a Churru treat. I usually need a helper but I was able to do it all on my own now, peacefully and in record time! At 10 lbs, she might actually be a little too large for this size but I know she can't squirm out of this one so I'll keep it!

Wow im so shocked this worked! My dog is a pain in the butt in the car so I got this as a car seat. It’s not meant for that but I’m not really using it for that. I just need him to hold still. The straps actually fit the seat and held him up great! The only reason it’s not 5 stars would just be the fact that the zippers could be higher quality. But in all it works great for what I intended it for! Im so excited to take a car ride with him!

It's okay. I like how the front is mesh on the one that I got. It makes it more breathable for my pup. The zippers on the sides and the velcro make it easy to take off. I was put off by the size. There is no real measurements in the descriptions. There's a picture with different types of dogs and their sizes are not consistent. First, I ordered the small which was too small. Going by the pictures they have on their listing, the extra large would fit my type of dog. When I got it, it was too big. Then I had to order a third one which is the right size. It was frustrating. The straps are fine they have a little pad I think they should be a clip in the back to where you can attach them together if you wanted to because the way it's built I feel like it slides off my shoulders. That could just be me. The design could be restructured a little bit. If you're standing up straight or leaning back a little bit you're fine, but if you lean forward a little bit, it chokes my dog. The fabric goes right across the neck. If that was adjusted it would be better. I'll probably have to modify it a bit. I'm not sure how durable it is yet just yet, I haven't had the chance to use it much. It feels fine like a regular backpack, like it'll hold up. There is also a bit of padding inside to make it more comfortable for your dog. If they can redesign the neck area a little bit it would be better. Also get a reliable sizing chart, so you dont have to guess which size

This is nice. Straps would slide down but I had to criss cross the straps in the back while carrying my dog in the front it felt better that way. did go by the size of my chihuahua. He is a little over 13 pounds. I should had went down a size . He would lay kinda sideways in lol 💚

It fits my 13 lbs Maltese perfectly!!! Just enough room for him to wear a sweater when it gets a bit chilly when we go scooter riding!!! He absolutely loves to hang around on this!! The durability is great, it’s very easy to adjust so it’s very portable since it lays flats and my boyfriend can also wear it, it’s nicely padded so it’s very comfortable and soft and very easy to clean off leaving no smells and i love that it’s easy for him to poke his head out and see clearly

This is the 4th carrier from this brand that I’ve got. The first one I got was around 6 or 7 years ago and I LOVE IT! And so did my pup Mac! He looooved going on bike rides in his pawaboo!!! This brand is great and the carriers are well made so whenever I saw a different model I’d get it (since we use it a LOT) my Mac is gone now and his little sister inherited his carriers but 3 years ago I got her a new one. They are all great, but when I saw the AA style I had to have it! The system is a bit different from the ones we have and I LOVE IT! The bottom part, where their tushie rests, is a little bit more reinforced which seems great. It’s soft but sturdy as well. We tried it on as soon as it arrived and Millie seemed very secured and safe! I love her little face when she’s on it, just watching the world!!!! There is a bit of a learning curve to get the pups in them, and I feel like the first one I got (looks like the AB style) , is lighter and thinner (still safe and strong) was the easiest one to get her in. The AA wasn’t too bad tho. I just wish there was an extra piece of fabric behind the zippers because you can easily catch the hair if you have a long hair dog. So be extra careful. I make sure I place my hand between the zipper and her body to avoid that, or get her in a little dress or some clothing. That also helps a LOT to prevent that from happening. And if it does your dog WILL NEVER forget and it will become more difficult to get them in it. The pattern I got is super cute, daisy pink! And the carrier has no weird smells or anything. Totally recommend it.

I think this carrier is a great option for most dogs. My dog, unfortunately, did not fit correctly as he would shift to the side and almost fall through one of the leg holes. I had high hopes it would work for him but it didn’t. Looking at other reviews for this product I can see that it works for many dogs and I agree that it is a good quality product. It is easy to use and comfortable to wear. You have to make sure to cross the straps in the back otherwise they will slip off. Overall I would recommend this product as I think it will be perfect for a lot of dogs.

The product is good but the sizing is wrong. A small is absolutely tiny and does NOT fit a Yorkshire Terrier at all unfortunately - so if buying, be careful of sizes!

We bought the medium size as recommended. We have a miniature pinscher and she is around 7-8 pounds and it is absolutely perfect. She looks comfy and quite likes it! Seems of good quality and looks cute too! Good buy!!!

My chihuahua and Pomeranian aren’t comfy in this at all and neither am I. This is very unsuitable for hot weather as the type of fabric doesn’t breathe properly so my chest gets soaked in sweat after some time. Aside that the dimensions are off on the size that was recommended. Also the bag despite tightening it hangs quite forward with the weight of the dog, making it stick its neck out and basically semi suffocating itself against the edge of the fabric because of that. Also my boys are not castrated and instead of their bits being protected by the fabric after a while they hang out the leg-hole and get squeezed painfully between the leg and fabric. I can’t do this to my boys, it’s just so uncomfortable. All in all I am convinced this is not suited for very small dogs like chihuahua and Pomeranian. Absolutely horrible product that has definitely NOT been tested properly to see if small dogs are actually comfortable in this. I would advise to look elsewhere. One star is too much but I can’t give less. I can’t say anything about larger dogs and sizes when it comes to this product though so please refer to other reviews for that.
