Awesome super light camera for those looking to get into digital photography
Great camera for those wanting an old school little camera :) Camera arrived a little late but I think that was an issue with my mail service, not the seller. Cam came with charger, battery, and wrist strap. Sellers are very helpful and seem reputable. As for the camera itself, its perfect! Great easy to understand display, lots of different options to choose from regarding preloaded settings, super easy to transfer pics from cam to laptop, just plug in the cord and viola! The cam is also surprisingly light but durable, so great to throw into ur bag. Itsy bitsy glitch on the display but does not impact the quality whatsoever and is unnoticeable. Super happy with this! All I had to buy was the memory card but it was like 11$ at best buy so pretty easy (32BG sandisk ultra plus) Works great and excited to take lots of pics with it :3

Keep Looking!
I'm SO disappointed with this camera! For my purpose, I wanted an easy point and shoot. I wanted something that would easily upload photos. This camera is WAY too needy and persnickety. Mission NOT accomplished. It is wrapped up for return as I write.

Great Pictures, Great Price!
I honestly don't know how any other review could give this camera 1 star. Sure, it isn't the best camera, but it's a CHEAP camera! I bought this camera so I could review it on my youtube channel. At first, I was skeptical, and I didn't expect much. After taking a few shots, I was afraid I had made a bad choice. However, I know that cameras aren't that simple, so I decided to try a few different options. After playing around with the camera a little bit, I was able to get some amazing shots! This is not a bad camera! It is an amazing camera for this price! I disagree that the average smartphone camera is any better than this camera. Even though some of the newer smartphones may be able to compete, this camera is still amazing! You can take great pictures if you know what you are doing! Even if you don't know what you are doing, once you get used to the camera, your pictures will look beautiful! I will try to upload some of my photos in a few minutes.

Unreliable Flash - Unreliable Camera - Not a Good Product
I have had great luck with every Coolpix model I've owned in the past but this A300 is not good. I have a home inspection business and use a camera every day. This model is very frustrating to use. I need to take many pics where lighting is not good. But, the auto sensing flash on this camera does not sense lighting or adjust properly. It takes way too many pictures without engaging the flash when a flash is needed and many pictures come out dim, poorly lit, and unusable for use in my inspection reports. I often need to turn my flashlight on to ensure I get enough light for pictures and take multiple pictures of the same thing just to make sure I am getting a usable picture. And often times when I do this, the camera flash will decide it wants to work. And to add to the frustration, the camera will not allow you to manually engage the flash. It only has an AUTO or OFF setting for the flash. So you have to hope the AUTO setting decide it wants to work. This a very disappointing camera, easily the worst Nikon Coolpix model I have owned and I have owned a lot of them. Only buy this camera if you like pulling your hair out in frustration.

does not allow you to turn on/off the flash manually.
Camera is fine. This model is fully automatic though and does not allow you to turn on/off the flash manually.

clear sharp pictures easy to use
screen smaller than my older cool pix, but pictures are clear an easy to use. this camera along with many others by Nikon has been discontinued because unfortunately everyone uses their I phone for crappy pictures that do not compare to the sharpness of a real camera.

I prefer to use a point and shoot camera instead of my phone for more important photos. Also, using "snapbridge" app, the camera sends the photos to my phone automatically.
