Works! June / July NC Heat stressed Bermuda lawn greened and thickened in10 days with Root Booster. I’ve been working on the soil since April/May. Pays off! Greenest lawn on the block and I’ve only used one application of Simple Grow’s Humic Acid and Micronutrients, and MicroLife Bio-Innoculant in early Spring; and Milorganite in late Spring.

Product worked as advertised. Applied per instructions with backpack sprayer. Noticeable results on day 4-5 with best results around 7-10 days. Applied 2nd to last week of April. Lan had already been fertilized and pre emergent in early March. Liquid fertilizer 3 weks after that. Noticed significant green up, growth, and the lawn seemed to thicken up quickly. Seems to have allowed to nutrients to be better absorbed in the soil. Very low odor, Applied it in combo with liquid iron. The iron has a much stronger odor. Overall likely to re order at some point when needed and continue to use in my lawn program.

Saw this on a YouTube video from Ryan Knorr and thought I'd give it a shot. Reasons for me trying it are simple. 1. I have a small lawn and live in a windy area. Using a hand broadcast sprayer with granulated product can be difficult and using a drop spreader is not convenient in my back yard. 2. I am less worried that it will cause problems with my dogs The pictures I posted are because they didnt really have a good front and back photo to really understand this product before purchase. No other fertilizer was put down. As you can see this is a freshly mowed lawn with new see put down. I used this plus their soil loosener product. I'll add another photo in about a week or so. Soil temps are optimal right now where I live in California to have new seed grow and be established before it gets to hot. Soil loosener is 3 ounce per 1000 sq ft. Make sure you soak the lawn after to allow penetration. Update 6/4/2019 Just mowed the lawn and this is what I've seen so far. More grass has popped up, but does not appear any thicker. I can tell that my soil is a little less compacted since it's not holding water like is used to in certain spots. I have added an additional picture to update this review and I have also bumped it up to 4 stars. I am going to add another application down soon, but this will also be with some nitrogen as well via another product. Unless someone wants to send me their summer blend. 6/22/2019: I have to say that this stuff plus the liquid soil loosner has done wonders to turn my lawn around. Pictures are in order of the progression of my lawn rehab. I can say that my lawn is very thick and has done very well. I have adjusted my watering times by just a few minutes every other day. I do not have to worry to much about my lawn right now. This is just in a matter of 1 month with temperatures exceeding 95degrees most days and these two products have done wonders. I just recently got the summer/spring fertilizer to see how else my lawn can become the best it can be. If you are interested. Follow my review on that product. I’m glad I found these! They are so easy to use and the Root Hume has helped keep the soil moist. I used this with the liquid aerator and it worked! I have 39,000 sq ft of Tif to maintain and this made it so much easier! Pour it into a hose end sprayer, connect and go! I highly recommend this product for better soil and nutrient uptake: my lawn was a light green and a week later, it was a dark green. And it’s still darkening! Type of soil: Loamy Clay with fast drainage on the surface. Time of year: August in Texas when temperatures are normally over 100 degrees daily. Turf type: Tifway 419 Turf appearance: Light green. Thin. Issue: Despite fertilizing, it was loosing its color and it stopped growing. This was my process: First treatment after 5pm: This brand’s Liquid Aerator with a hose end sprayer. Second treatment on the same day: Root Hume Third treatment: Water in for 20 minutes The next morning I could feel the soil beneath my feet was softer where it was once dry and hard, despite watering efforts. That week, I watched it turn a darker green and just yesterday, a neighbor mentioned how green and healthy it looked, and how they were in awe at how fast it improved! Pros: Easy to use Cons: I’ll definitely be buying this again as part of my lawn care regimen!

The improvement is actually in the soil. A healthy, beautiful lawn requires good soil for proper rooting and nutrient assessability. Humic acid will help build the soil needed. If biochar is incorporated with this heavy clay can be transformed into soil perfect for growing a lawn. Be careful, it will stain everything, wash off immediately!

Time will tell how effective this stuff is. I followed the directions but found that it didn’t nearly cover as much area as suggested. I expected to do my small lawn 2x but barely made it thru one application. Shipped on time. No leakage. Easy to apply

This season I decided to step up the game and get my yard to look the best possible. I started with aeration last fall, as well as seed and fertilizer (done by a company - don't know what product was used). At the beginning of Spring I noticed that the grass was not responding well in recovering from the winter (mild winter this year). I used the same service I had used during the fall, they did some fertilizer and weed preventer (again, unknown product). A couple of weeks went by and no change, lots of weeds started coming out and the grass looked thin and weak. I decided then to take over, below is what I did. 1. March 16: - Milorganite Fertilizer (Organic - Nitrogen) 2. April 20 : - Detached Lawn (Did it with attachment on my ridding mower - Removed a 40 Gal. trash bag worth of dead grass) - Over-seeded (gorSmart Turf Type Tall Fescue Blazzing Blues Grass Seed - 10 lbs) - Starter Food (Scotts Turf Builder Starter Food for New Grass - 2 Bags) - Milorganite (Organic - Nitrogen - Again) 3. April 27: - Humic Fulvic Aicd (Simple Grown Solutions Raw Organic Humic Fulvic Acid - Liquid Carbon) The results have been amazing, I have the most healthy lawn in my neighborhood, the grass is greener and healthier than ever before. I think that the Humic Fulvic Acid from Simple Grown Solutions helped the soil absorb the Milorganite and the other nutrients on the soil. The only negative I have is that now I have to cut the grass 2 times per week, awesome!

I switched to a liquid fertilization system and I wanted something that would be safe for the pets and give me the results I needed. I contacted the company via Amazon with my soil test results and got a few recommendations, which for me was the Soil Loosener/Conditioner, Humic Fulvic Acid (Liquid Carbon), and Superior Nitrogen & Potash. I generally apply a bit less than recommended, but more frequently and I’ve never been happier with the results. I do add the Advanced 16-4-8 a few times a year, as well as organic insecticide. Other than mowing and mulching, those are the only products I’m using. I started with a mud pit of a yard 4 years ago when I bought the home and finally focused on the yard last summer by starting the overseeding and fertilizer process. The icing on the cake was the nutrients this year from Simple Lawn Solutions. I’ve had countless neighbors ask how I got such a green yard when most of the neighborhood was yellow dead grass. Having pets is also rough on the yard and even in the backyard where the “business” is done, you couldn’t even tell as the grass is green and just beautiful. I do find the liquid so much easier as you can clearly see where you’ve sprayed and what’s left. I use a tow-behind sprayer on my lawnmower and usually spray as I mow and then do a final round before calling it a day. It’s super simple, cost effective (way cheaper than hiring a service and much less expensive than many other products I’ve seen). I couldn’t recommend this enough and look forward to seeing what I can do next year as well!
