I just purchased a 3rd gen Apple TV (2021) and it has the new silver remote which I love but was afraid it would get sticky and scratched from all the use it’s getting right away. Decided to get this remote case because I liked the way it looked and once I got it, I knew I made the right choice.For only $8 it’s hard to pass up. Works perfectly with all buttons, even not line of sight. I especially love that the power button and Siri buttons are covered by the silicone but do not affect usability at all!The grip on the bottom is great for sitting down on smooth surfaces. It won’t slip off accidentally anymore and it’s just a nicer feel in your hand to have that grip.I feel more accurate with the buttons.Only real gripe I could mention would be the lanyard was a bit of a pain to install. I ended up putting a small zip tie through and slipped the lanyard onto it before closing the zip tie. Then it was just rotate the zip tie through both holes till the lanyard was pulled through. Snip the zip tie off and remove it while holding the lanyard. Lastly loop the lanyard on itself to finish its install.There were no instructions for tips on how to install the lanyard but again for $8 I’m not going to dock them any points. It’s just an extra feature. I have a kid who sometimes plays games with the remote so I wanted the lanyard specifically.Anyways, definitely would buy again no doubt! Pick your color and buy it, you will be very happy with it!

I took the time to look for a Siri remote cover that wasn’t bulking, didn’t have the option for the air tag and fully covered the whole remote… and found this! I didn’t like how a lot of the other covers exposed half of the remote in the front. I have a child who will periodically use this remote and don’t want it to get scratched and wanted it fully encased and this does the job. The only downfall is it’s hard to loop the wristband strap through both holes on the side of the cover but you just need to use a chopstick or pen to get it through the 2nd hole. I’ll still consider ordering more in the future.

Except for the color not matching the description, I really love this sleeve. All the cut outs align perfectly and do not hinder using any of the buttons. The anti-slip textured back makes it easier to grip. Although it doesn’t come with instructions, the short, one-minute instructional video in the Seller’s description shows how to attach the lanyard and place the sleeve on the remote. It was simple to do. I would have given the sleeve 5 stars, but I’m disappointed that the color shown in the description was not the same color I received. I ordered the brightly colored “Lavender Purple” because the bright color makes it easier for me to find the remote. I received a pastel lavender shade instead. I included a side-by-side photo for color comparison. Otherwise, it’s a great sleeve.

Perfect fit but textured bottom feels weird when holding it. Also, I disabled swiping on my remote so I rely on the click functionality but it’s hindered by this sleeve due to fitting flush with the buttons (no give when “clicking”). If the nub texture base doesn’t bother you, and you use primarily swiping functionality, then you’ll probably love this cover because it protects the entire remote.
