Quality is poor
The box looks very nice but the construction quality is poor. I got this for my wife to store her formal dining silverware. It get used 2-3 times a year. The strip of wood that is used to hold the knives in place broke away from the lid. Looked like it had been poorly glued on. I had to put some small screws in it to get it secured. Works, but it looks crappy. I’d pass and get yourself a better box.

Wallace is a good brand. That's the reason I bought one Silverware chest.
But I am giving it a 4 star, because there is no way to hold the knifes as you are opening the case.So I had to place all the knifes in the drawer.It does not look right. But the chest is very well done, and I think I will keep it.

Beautiful and works well
It looks great and serves its purpose! I love it. Only surprise is that the drawer is a little smaller than expected so next time id probably get one with two drawers but either way it fits my service for 16 comfortably, along with a few extra pieces. Would definitely recommend.It’s not labeled or listed as anti tarnish but my silvers been in there for about 2 months now and still appears to be doing well.

beautiful and functional
Love it. Beautifully made. I had a extra large set of silverware (some pieces I had 29 of) and all of the large serving pieces and it held them all nicely. Now I have a place to keep them clean and ready for all the big family gatherings.
