Ideal for any plugged-in outdoor show, large venue or acoustic coffee house set, the Meinl Pickup Compact Slaptop Cajon is extraordinarily versatile for any setting. The unique T-shape of this cajon is designed for upright playing. Keep your back straight with the playing surface in your lap, and play your cajon grooves like normal. Its mahogany playing surface with fixed internal snares on one side delivers outstanding crisp slap tones with punchy bass in the center. This surface can be played with either your hands or cajon brushes. The durable composite resonating body in black reflects the sound for a clear tone, and forward-facing sound ports help the cajon to project in acoustic settings.
