Is it good for taping dj cords to the wood stage?

This tape sucks. It's not very sticky and it's more like paper tape than cloth tape. Good gaff tape has a cloth like feel with a sticky back that doesn't leave residue. Spend the extra money and get a roll of real gaff tape.

We have vinyl covered banquet chairs that have damaged corners. Will this bond with vinyl?

It will stick, but not bond as a permanent fix. Gaffer tape is meant to be temporary and come off without leaving residue.

Is this tape esd compliant? ir will be used for cable mgmt inside a computer case.

No. if left in place for more than 30 day it become more permanent like Duck tape, so why not use Duck Tape. Inside a computer case you should use NO tapes, just Velcro.
