If you have old metal kitchen cabinets with drawers, this could make them glide like never before. I've had excellent results using this on my kitchen drawers, and appreciate that it's NFS rated for use around food. (Obviously not on food contact surfaces, but it does seem to stay where you put it as long as you don't over do it) I also use this to keep my tools rust free. This has been doing a better job than WD-40 and some other products I've tried in the past.

My search for a lower cost CRC 3-36 found this! The pros: + At $14.49 for this 16 oz CRC 3-36 pump bottle costs less than the 11 oz CRC 3-36 aerosol can! + Free Amazon shipping. + I use this multipurpose lubricant for many uses, but the main use is to keep my B&D 24" hedge cutter blade lubricated, which this spray bottle does a pretty good job! + Doesn't have an overly strong odor. + Advertised - Lubricates without leaving a sticky mess. + Advertised - Penetrates through corrosion to loosen frozen parts + Advertised - Prevents corrosion by displacing moisture. + Advertised - Volatile organic compounds (VOC) compliant. + Advertised - NSF H2 registered for use in meat and poultry plants . + Advertised - Dielectric Strength - 47100 volts. The cons: - This bottled CRC doesn't handle shipping well, got 3 that were leaking & had to be returned. Success on the 4th shipment! I suspect the reason is noted on the bottle label, which I attached! - I seems like I go thru the product faster with the pump bottle, than the aerosol can? - Combustible, flammable liquid. - This product can conduct electricity. Closing remarks: ▪ As noted above, I seem to go thru more product with spray bottle, but considering the cost savings, I just ordered a gallon of CRC 3-36 to refill the 16 oz bottle! The gallon size saves even more money on this product! ▪ I should note that I still have & use CRC 3-36 in the aerosol can for specific applications where the spray bottle sprays too much product. Updates: ▪ June 13, 2025 - I thought I should mention the last two 16 oz CRC 3-36 pump bottle arrived with "no leaks", so I'm going to change my product rating from 3 out of 5 to 4 out of 5 rating stars!

I've used a few of the 'usual' metal protectants...WD-40 being typical of most of them. After reading the product description and the user comments, I ordered a spray bottle to give it a try on some of the bare metal surfaces of my tools...drill press shaft, miter saw sliders, etc. These are not kept in a very stable environment...no heated shop with humidity controls, etc. When I received the bottle...(and I really like that it comes in a hand sprayer...the aerosol containers always over-spray the contents all over the shop), I put a bit of this product on a clean rag as well as some directly on a few surfaces that seemed to need some TLC. I was very pleased to find that there is almost no odor...aroma...stink...whatever term you like....and that it really seemed to flow over the surfaces with ease and leave a nice non-tacky metal surface behind. I did all of this a few months ago, since then I've repeated a few light applications as well as treating some new locations and it has done all that I had hoped....this 'Initial Rating' from me....is Great Product...!

I have been dealing with the spray can version of this but I knocked over an almost full can and broke off the spray head. Now I have a worthless can of 3-36 that I will have to figure out how to de-pressurize and salvage the CRC. I drop this over and if it breaks, oh well I have more spray bottles and I can buy re-fills. I still use a spray can on the gun bench but in the garage, this is the way to go!

Awesome product, great for lubricating your nice clean floors because some %#@_:;!? Didnt secure the bottle correctly in the shipping package and it spilled out all over our floors from inside the box, why it decided to break in the house and not during shipment is because theres a sealed plastic bag surrounding the bottle and lubricant finally ate thru the bag while sitting in our house. Problem is the spray head is attached to the bottle and not sealed. So it was open just enough to leak out after being unscrewed. Wow second time in a month that amazon packers are just horrible... they need to secure your items better... but love the products and prices... just sad to see products broken because if poor shipping practices....
