Rubber Strap for new Seiko Sports 5, SKX, SRPDxx

Very nice strap well made. Easy to put on watch face.

I’ve also found that this strap does not fit SRPD79. My watch has looked like this for 5 days. I’ve tried this 50x with the old lugs and new. I was so excited to get the watch and mod it and this is the result. Shame bc I researched straps as long as I researched watches and this one will not work.

If you are looking switch up your SEIKOs metal band to a "rubber" one, don't wast your time on anything except a Craftet Blue. Beside the fact its made for the Seiko brand, its by far the most robust band I have found and well worth the money. So out of respect to your Seiko time piece go with a Crafter Blue.

It does not fit the Seiko 5 Sports SPRD65. I tried every way to make it fit, but it’s off by a couple millimeters. So annoying!

The rubber is a little stiffer than expected but not uncomfortable and still easy to use clasp and retainers. I took the brushed stainless steel retainer off that came with the strap as in IMO it looks a little cheap. Came with two rubber retainers.

These are great if your waist and wrist are the same size.

Many reviewers stated it would not fit their Seiko SSK properly. I successfully fitted this strap to my SKX with no trouble at all. I would’ve tried my SSK but it just suited my old SKX so well I kept it on there. Maybe I’ll try my other Seiko models in the future. For now I can confirm it fits my Seiko SKX well and looks the retro part.

Ero inizialmente indeciso sull’acquisto di questo cinturino per il mio Seiko, soprattutto dopo la rottura del passante del cinturino originale. Dopo averlo provato, però, posso dire di aver fatto un’ottima scelta. Il prodotto si distingue per la qualità costruttiva ed è probabilmente uno dei migliori cinturini aftermarket disponibili per Seiko: a mio parere è nettamente superiore all’originale. La cura nei dettagli è evidente, a partire dal packaging molto curato fino alla presenza della carta di garanzia con codice univoco che ne certifica l’originalità. È possibile scegliere tra passante in metallo o in gomma, lo spessore è perfetto e l’adattamento alla cassa è praticamente impeccabile, con una tolleranza inferiore al millimetro. Al polso risulta comodo, morbido e piacevole anche dopo un uso prolungato. Avevo qualche dubbio sulla scelta del pattern a scacchi rispetto al classico liscio o al bicolore, ma mi sono dovuto ricredere: dona un tocco di originalità senza risultare eccessivo e si abbina alla perfezione con la ghiera del mio Seiko SKX009. Considerando il prezzo di 35 €, è stato un acquisto davvero azzeccato: qualità, estetica e comfort in un unico prodotto.

In my opinion the strap looks amazing and feels high quality. Sadly the strap I received would not fit a Seiko SRPD55K1, although listed as compatible. I've fitted and removed alot of watch straps in my time and this strap is clearly slightly out of tolerance. The spring bar chanel in the strap is out of alignment to the lug holes. No amount of force will get both ends if the spring bar to engage in both lug holes. For a strap at this price point, personally I find this unacceptable. Attempts to contact Crafter blue customer service have been unsuccessful and I've had no response across multiple platforms. Have returned to Amazon for a refund. Maybe a replacement strap might have been perfect, but I can't help but be left with a sour taste in my mouth. I will be tying a significantly cheaper strap from an alternative manufacturer and see how I get on.

Arrived open-box and already showing signs of use. Despite being advertised as compatible, it does not fit the Seiko 5 SRPD series at all. The spring bars pop out instantly, and in my case they scratched the watch right away. Older reviews from 2023 warned about this, and nothing has been fixed since. Poor quality control and misleading listing - avoid it, because it will ruin your watches.
