A Garden Lifesaver! Safe, Effective, and Under $10!
If you are looking for an affordable, highly effective way to protect your garden and home from pests, you absolutely need to try this! I purchased the half-pound bag of HARRIS Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth on Amazon, and it has been an absolute game-changer. Right now, my vegetable garden is gearing up for summer, and I’ve been dealing with ants and other annoying pests crawling all over my bell peppers and dahlias. With a massive harvest of various peppers, melons, and other veggies coming in over the next month, I wanted to be proactive and stop these bugs before they could do any real damage. This product has worked beautifully! I’ve been using it for a little over a month now, and the results speak for themselves. My routine is simple: I water my garden one day, and the next day once things are dry, I apply this all throughout the garden bed. While it doesn't happen overnight, I have noticed a massive reduction in pests—and some days, I don’t see a single ant! Here is why I love it: It Works: Dramatic reduction in ants and garden pests within just a few weeks. Pet-Friendly & Safe: Because it’s food-grade, I feel completely comfortable using it around the garden. Versatile: I recently learned it can be used inside the house too! I plan on applying it around my front door and patio door to catch the little pests trying to sneak inside. Incredible Value: For under $10, you truly cannot go wrong. If you want a safe, budget-friendly solution to keep your plants safe and your home pest-free before the summer heat hits, give this a try. You won't regret it!

Simple, safe, and effective with a great applicator
This HARRIS Diatomaceous Earth is a fantastic natural solution for pest control. Since it's food grade, I feel much safer using it around the house and near pets compared to harsh chemical sprays. The standout feature is definitely the "puffer tip" on the bottle—it makes it incredibly easy to apply a fine, even dust into tight cracks, baseboards, and hard-to-reach corners without making a huge mess. It’s an efficient, non-toxic essential for any home maintenance kit!

Works quickly and effectively.
Works great. Started with a swarm of gnats in variegated monstera soil, but within hours of application, the problem was almost totally gone. During the entire day afterward only saw 3 total. NOTE: Do not start off cutting where the line is on the tip! Start way at the top close to the tippy top. If you start where the line is, TOO much will come out at once and you'll have large clumps instead of a fine mist. It won't work too well. Best is if you start with a smaller opening to puff out the ultra fine powder. This would also work well for ants, spiders, silverfish, and other crawling bugs, and for things that come in through doorways, window sills, cracks in the walls, etc.

Seems to work to rid of insect "pests" Use only as directed.
I bought this on the recommendation of an ai bot. I had a bumble bee nest under my truck canopy where i had a few riding mower decks stashed atop a rubber mat on the ground. The bees made a nest under the mat. I first tried going out at night, flipping the canopy off, slowly lifting the mat and spraying a safer wasp spray working my way further under the mat until i heard a loud sizzling/buzzing and i hightailed it back into the house. Next night I tried shoving a stick under the mat with a rag on the end with a little gas on it hoping the fumes would rid the nest. The next couple days was "swarming" (disorganized) bumble bees flying around and I had to avoid the area. I finally bought this product to try sprinkling around the place where the mat was humped up from the stick. I made a small mound around the stick. It has been 2 days now and I don't see any flying bumbles so maybe this did the trick or it was a combination of my efforts.

Perfect product
Very effective and easy to use. The applicator tip makes it simple to apply in cracks, corners, and other tight areas without creating a mess. I also like that it’s food grade and chemical-free, which gives extra peace of mind when using around pets and the home. The powder is fine and consistent, and the container seals well for storage. Works great for multiple uses around the house and garden, and a little goes a long way making it an excellent value. Overall, a reliable product from a trusted brand.

Difficult to apply, but hopeful it is working
This was a reasonably priced version of this product. I have used similar products before with good results. The fact that it is a non toxic way to get rid of roaches or other insects is ideal. I needed to apply some in our master bathroom, specifically in some cracking tile grout where I noticed some baby roaches were hiding (ewwwwwwwwww) and didn't want to use toxic substances in there. I had manually killed a few babies over the course of a few weeks prior that I horrifyingly witnessed venturing out of that crack. I really DID NOT WANT them to grow into adults as I have an unnatural fear of roaches since childhood. I have no idea how many babies are in one roach egg... and I don't want to know. I found this product very difficult to apply, but it is probably just the nature of powders. I wore a mask so I wouldn't breathe it in because even though it is not toxic, any powders going into your lungs is a bad idea. I found that I either couldn't be sure it was coming out at all OR I had an excessive amount pour out. Perhaps a better solution is to pour a bit into a small cup/plate and use a small paint brush or an old, spare make up brush to apply. I ended up dumping large amounts out, wasting quite a bit of product, and smearing it into the places needed with my hands (less than ideal). I tried to get it in all the cracked areas and then went around the bathroom floor boards and behind the toilet for good measure. I also put some in the corners of my Master bedroom and along 2 sets of sliders in two rooms, where there are definitely some entry points. The heavy rains in the summer drive insects to seek dry shelter in our home we notice. Although we do get monthly outdoor pest control service on the exterior of the home, it isn't always enough. It is hard for me to know for sure if this product has worked because I haven't found any dead insects, but I also have not seen any live ones since-- a positive in my book. The babies may have died behind the tile, and while not ideal, is better than them being alive and growing into big nasty roaches. I prefer to pretend they walked in the powder and went outside in the yard to die. I know we do still need to seal up the shower cracks, but it will take a lot of time and money to do it right. Curse the previous owners who used thick sandy grout lines! I will be coming up with an ad hoc solution in the meantime. If you have never tried a product like this before, I recommend giving it a shot. I will update my review if I see roaches rolling around in this powder and laughing at me in defiance. Until then, I am assuming it is working as intended.

Works well
I don't like spraying chemicals around. I like that this is non toxic. Two applications, two weeks apart, which took about 5 minutes each, and my silverfish problem is completely gone.
