Great flavor additive
I use this ham base when cooking beans from scratch, my husband says navy beans taste like Campbell’s Bean and Bacon soup with the ham base in them. My local Kroger stopped stocking it and so I found it on Amazon…. HAPPY GIRL!

Great for Soups
This was the first time I used it in a soup only because the bacon I purchased was the worst ever to the point I couldn't use the drippings. One thing to remember this ham base is extremely salty, so if using in an 8 quart amount of soup, a good tablespoon will work but omit salting the soup. Frequently I cook ham hocks for soups or beans. But when you're under time constraints, this works well. Will buy again.

Excellent service! Got it two days earlier than posted. Package was exceptionally safety secured for glass jars with bubble wrap all the way around, and more bubble wrap all the way around that. Super happy about everything. Excellent product and service
