Scotts EZ Bermudagrass Lawns Grass Seed 10 LB

I’m very impressed with Scotts EZ Seed Patch & Repair Bermuda. The seeds germinated exceptionally well, and I’m already seeing healthy new growth. This was used in Florida, where getting grass seed to grow can be difficult due to heat and soil conditions, so I was pleasantly surprised by how well it took. With proper watering, it’s been doing a great job filling in bare spots. It’s been less than a week, and I’ve already noticed sprouting. I applied it on Friday, and by Tuesday there was visible new growth. I could probably use more coverage in some areas, but it’s still a much cheaper and easier alternative than resodding the entire yard.

I have a one acre natural grass lawn, with two areas of no grass, about 100sq feet each. 7 weeks later, and not a single blade grew in the two patches. My $4 Dollar Store grass performed much better than this over-priced bag of dust! Very disappointed.

Works no problem

I was looking forward to applying this product. The concept for the product seemed great for my needs. Followed the instructions and the planting was watered as instructed. The temperature was moderate (in the mid 60s.) Moderate rain occurred off and on for five days after the application. The soil was raked prior to application. The results were extremely disappointing with very little grass in a couple of areas and no grass in most areas. Germination did not seem to occur.

Product did work but you have to use a lot in the spots for it to grow right and make sure you shake the bag , if you live in a neighborhood where there is weeds in every lawn this may not be recommended unless you frequently weed area and don’t want or disturb it keeping it wet the green was a nice shade . For instance I didn’t have clovers when I planted this but when planed it caused them to grow. Does work and once sprouted the roots take very strong . However this bag can be pricy I barely got even a patch in yard and ran out only could spot patch areas . Mix bag before you lay it
