Brilliant Jewelry Cleaner, Blue

Nice little jar for jewelry cleaning. The basket holds your rings, earrings and whatever. There is a little brush to clean and polish your items. My rings sparkle. There's no odd odors.

It does very well with shining silver jewelry. We only wear silver in our house so I can't attest to if it works on any other type of jewelry but my wife's rings, necklaces, and earrings look brand new. We also really like that it has a minimal smell unlike other ammonia based cleaners. I will definitely buy again.

Great product and works well. The lid doesn't screw on tight, so it leaks.

Works great, nice shine, cleans well

My package arrived very quickly, safely and with minimal packaging. I have kept this product for many years – this is the third or fourth container of the same product. I have been pleased with its cleaning for both fashion jewelry (I recommend: Do NOT allow plated or coated metals to soak very long and thoroughly rinse immediately after soaking.) and fine jewelry (Also recommend: Notice its use is for non-porous gems. Seriously, do not use for pearls, opals, etc.) The soaking tray makes removing the jewelry easier and its tiny brush can be useful. It is very small so I keep another soft bristle brush for my jewelry, too. The only negative I have involves a conundrum of sorts. The product is sold with its container sealed with a clear plastic top. This protects during shipment – totally necessary and totally appreciated. That seal is so difficult to remove I usually spill a significant amount just getting it open. If the manufacture could offer a seal that serves its purpose yet could be more easily removed, this product would be near perfect. All things considered, I am pleased with this cleaning solution and container. I would recommend without hesitation to those familiar with jewelry care.

I really wanted to like this jewelry cleaner, but it didn’t give me the results I was expecting. I used it on both sterling silver and platinum jewelry, and while it removed some surface dirt, it didn’t restore the shine very well. I ended up having to polish my jewelry by hand afterward to get the finish I wanted. It may work fine for light cleaning, but for deeper cleaning or bringing back the sparkle, I don’t think it’s very effective. That’s why I’m giving it three stars

Exactly what I needed

J'ai utilisé ce produit pour nettoyer des bijoux anciens. J'ai été satisfaite de l'éclat retrouvé pour ceux en or, ainsi que pour les pendentifs avec des pierres. Les premières chaines en argent étaient belles, mais j'ai eu l'impression que le liquide se saturait rapidement. Au fur et à mesure, le liquide ne faisait plus son travail de nettoyage. Donc, je le recommande que pour les bijoux en or avec ou sans pierres.
