Now you can master the principles of microeconomics with the help of the most popular, widely-used economics textbook by students worldwide -- Mankiwโs PRINCIPLES OF MICROECONOMICS, 8E. With its clear and engaging writing style, this book emphasizes only the material that will help you better understand the world in which you live, will make you a more astute participant in the economy, and will give you a better understanding of both the potential and limits of economic policy. The latest relevant examples bring microeconomic principles to life. Acclaimed text author N. Gregory Mankiw explains, "I have tried to put myself in the position of someone seeing economics for the first time. My goal is to emphasize the material that students should and do find interesting about the study of the economy." The powerful MindTap student-focused digital resource is available and sold separately. Its digital learning and homework solutions reinforce the principles presented in this edition. Older edition for low price, perfect for intro class
Introduction to economics hasnโt changed massively from edition to edition and you can save a lot of money by going with this older edition. I found it worked just as well for classes besides a few chapters with listed in a different order

Very detailed and thorough book for Microeconomics
I used this book for a public policy program as a student. The book and technology are very interactive and gives numerous practice questions and concept videos. If your professor decides to use this book, they will have plenty of slides, notes, videos, and other teaching aids to guide students through each chapter. The book is very organized and applicable to everyday public policy and financial terminology.

Used but not abused
Even for a used book mine came in pretty pristine condition. There were folded edges on some of the pages and only one accidental pen mark (so far that Iโve noticed), regardless it was an overall great buy for my Econ class!

Chapters do not match
I purchased the eighth editions, which is the actual course of Macroeconomics that I'm taking. However, the chapters aren't matching with the curriculum after chapter 10th. The subjects are not related. The course on chapter 10th talks about "Measuring a Nation's Income," the book received is about "Externalities." Chapter 11th should be "Measuring the Cost of Living" instead of "Public Goods and Common Resources." I honestly don't know which one is right or wrong, but it isn't definitely the same.

Used book was in excellent condition.
Great price for a book my daughter needed for college and not a part of her major. Saved a ton of money buying it here!

Of the lowest quality education can become.
I used the book for my introduction to microeconomics course at my university. I cannot, for the life of me, understand why this book was written. It reads like a high school textbook at a crappy public school. Out of entire twenty-page chapters, one might only need to read five to ten sentences, because the rest of the content is void of information. I have read approximately forty textbooks in my life, and I have not yet had the displeasure of having been introduced to a more embarrassing "work". The age range is most properly between twelve to fourteen, and, would, unless they are not cut-out for schooling, assuredly reply after having a good read "Is that it?"

Good quality
Love the overall quality of the textbook also arrived in time for my classes. Found a minor spelling mistake in one of the textbook definitions even though the word was polled twice and with the same definition. As well as one full page from the textbook is hard to read as the words are not properly printed, as this makes eyestrain and the are bends on the pages.
