Product description PINK SUN Organic Neem Oil, Pellets & Horticultural Soap Neem oil and pellets are extracted from the Azadirachta Indica tree for its powerful and naturally occurring properties, traditionally used in many applications. Horticultural Soap is gentle on plants, pets and the environment. Indoors Plants PINK SUN Organic Neem Oil & Pellets and Horticultural Gentle Soap are suitable for all indoor plants (shrubs and herbaceous). Vegetables, Fruit, Flowers & Lawns PINK SUN Organic Neem Oil & Pellets and Horticultural Gentle Soap are are suitable for all outdoor plants (crops, fruits, flowers, shrubs and lawns). Horses & Small Animals PINK SUN Organic Neem Oil is suitable for use on horses and other small animals. Organic Neem Oil Produced by cold pressing of neem seeds. Rich in essential fatty acids. High quality with Azadirachtin content 1000+ ppm. 100% organic neem oil has a high melting point and will become solid between 18-24 degrees C. With the onset of cooler temperatures the neem oil will appear thick and lumpy and more solid than liquid. This is normal and to be expected! Before using stand the bottle in a cup of warm water or on a warm radiator to return the oil to its liquid state. Do not microwave. This product is bottled warm at source. After bottling, the oil will cool and contract slightly which creates a vacuum and may give the bottles a dented appearance. This is also normal and to be expected. Bottle & Label images may vary. Warning: STRONG SMELL Application For a plant spray or drench; to each litre of warm water mix 5 ml neem oil with 10 ml PINK SUN Horticultural Gentle Liquid Soap (to emulsify oil) (sold separately) . Apply every 5-7 days. For skin, hair or pet care; dilute with a carrier oil, shampoo or cream to a ratio with 5% neem oil. Not recommended for use in concentrated form. Organic Neem pellets Derived from the fruit of the neem tree and are presented in a convenient easy to use pellet form. PINK SUN Organic Neem Pellets are suitable for indoor and outdoor plants (crops, fruits, flowers, shrubs and lawns). Made from pelletised neem seed cake/meal. Neem pellets reduce alkalinity in soil, by producing organic acids on decomposition. Being a natural product, it is compatible with soil microbes, improves rhizosphere micro flora and helps soil fertility. Neem pellets release fatty acids, aldehydes, ketones, amino acids, carbohydrates and frees sulphur. The pellets can improve the organic matter content of the soil, helping maintain good soil texture, water holding capacity and soil aeration for better root development. Dry Application: Mix with substrate or apply as a side dressing to existing plants. Water well. Pots/Tubs/Planters/Baskets - 50g (3-4tbsp)/10L (1/3 cubic feet). Trees/Shrubs/Fruit trees- 1kg/0.3m3 (9-12 cubic feet). Lawns (top dress) - 40-70g/m2 (10 square feet). Vegetables/Flowers - 100g/m2 (10 square feet). Wet Application Add 1 heaped tablespoon of pellets to 300-500ml of warm/hot water to break down pellets overnight. Mix and pour onto soil around plants. Pellet Information : Pellet size guide, 4.5mm diameter, 10-25mm length. This is a natural product with no binders and some pellets may crush during transport. Pellets left on the soil surface may give off odour and show mould. This is a natural part of the decomposition process. Avoid contact with water until applied. Horticultural Gentle Liquid Soap Specially formulated from plant oils to be gentle on your plants and pets, and gentle on the environment. It is an ideal emulsifier for PINK SUN Organic Neem Oil a pure cold pressed unrefined neem oil with 1000+ ppm azadirachtin content (sold separately). When combined with water these two PINK SUN products produce a natural neem spray. PINK SUN Horticultural Gentle Liquid Soap may also be used to gently wash and protect house plants. Dilute with water as instructed. After bottling, the hygroscopic liquids can draw in the surrounding surplus air which creates a vacuum and gives the bottles a dented appearance . This is normal and to be expected. Review: Kill the Fungius Gnats before you get larvae. - Finally, with PINK SUN insecticidal soft soap plus neem oil, I'm finally rid of the pesky sciarid flies. It has to be mixed and used immediately, and the neem oil is solid at room temperature, so it is a little bother, but well worth it, and it's effective! It's the ONLY thing I've found to kill thos damned flies!!!! No longer will they eat my seedlings! Having tried everything to kill the buggers, a bunch of proprietory insecticides, bacteria, nematodes, mites, beetles and even nilnat crystals, all of which were bloody expensive, and none of which was very effective, I'm now spraying at the first sign of a single fly (or fungus gnat, to give it it's popular name). Thus the eggs don't get laid in the first place, contrary to most of the advice I had received to attack the larvae. That doesn't work. Even if the flies do lay some eggs, they are minimal, and the flies get zapped as soon as they emerge. I have to be vigilant and spray as soon as I see just one fly, because that one fly can lay 200 eggs which could eat 200 seedlings. They got 20,000 of my chilli pepper seedlings last season.
