Amara View Headgear, Standard Size

Legit product and not a knock off.

Purchased a new head strap for my gear. Came packaged like it should. Got some new magnetic connectors as well. Happy to get what I was needing! Thanks!

CPAP works ok

The magnetic or plastic clips come with the face gear, not the headgear. What’s driven me nuts with the last two headgears is the little “figure 8” where the straps meet (on the left side of the crown if not a little lower) haven’t been plastic, but they’ve been metal. I couldn’t figure out why I had scabs on my head, until one night when I put it on. One of those stupid magnet clips snapped loose, and the metal smacked me in the head. I’ve put two layers of the fleece snuggies on, and I still get cut. I’m hoping the one that arrived today is like the picture with a plastic fixture.

I wear the ResMed AirFit F30, but am not a fan of the headgear. I had previously worn the Amara View so I switched out the strap and continue to do so. Velcro seems to last quite some time and generally only replace the headgear only once per year.

This is the exact headgear that I needed for my cpap. I was told these were recalled due to their magnetic clips. Later, this recall was limited to individuals who had certain medical contraindications. I had no contraindications, but this headgear (which fits the mask that works the best for me) was still unavailable. I found the exact one I needed on Amazon and the price was only a few dollars more than my co pay. Super quick delivery!

I just received this new headgear, and it is better than what I received with the facemask. I love the magnetic snaps - the clips managed to snap the whole mask apart about once a month. The top of the head strap seems to add stability. Overall I am very pleased. Just a hint: I noticed several recent one star ratings that complained of a knock-off product so I ordered from the next supplier on Amazon's list. I paid a few dollars more but it was worth it.
