Uncle Nearest 1884 Small Batch Whiskey 70cl, 93-Proof, 46.5% ABV

Very nice. Brought as a Christmas gift. Good quality American Whisky with some great history attached to it. Cheers to Uncle (Nathan) Nearest the black distiller who taught Jack Daniels the trade & cheers to Victoria Eady Butler, a decedent of Nathan who distilled this.

Great whiskey, drank it all

Anyone querying the filling of the bottle, this is due to the 700ml(70cl) of whiskey being dispensed into a 750ml(75cl) bottle giving the impression that it is underfilled. This is definitely not the case as I have personally measured.

Punchy and straight to the chest, when enjoyed neat. Clarity in taste, and a pleasure when splashed over some crystal clear rocks!

Not sure this is the actual authentic drink. The packaging looked weird. If anyone could verify it is real please leave some feed back.

Bought this for my husband, and was shocked to find the bottle isn't full! For £50 you would expect the advertised bottle to actually be filled with the product.

I love the story on how Uncle Nearest came about and I enjoy the smooth taste that it brings as well. I have purchased at least three bottles to include the premium version as well. It’s worth every dollar I spend on it!!!
