If you like extreme close-up photography on your phone, this is what you want!
This is a new twist on phone photography. Using a clip that places the "microscope" over the camera lens, it provides massive magnification. You simply place the "microscope" over your phone camera lens and then place that directly on your subject. What makes this very special is the ring light around the microscope assuring both even light and 2 different intensities. I found that the lower intensity was enough. It is best used when you can place the subject on a flat surface so that the plane is also flat for full sharp focus. It also works best on completely stationary subjects. Motion is greatly magnified when you are that close. I used this on my 1x magnification lens of my iPhone 12 Pro, but it is clearly designed to be used on any phone on the market. It would be a very good idea to have a screen protector on the phone. The clip that holds the "microscope" in place will go over your screen, and to make it stable it is very tight. I did not try this on any slides, but I could see how it would work very well! I tested it on my blue jeans, my finger, some small plants, a rust spot on a handrail, a leaf, a US quarter and a stamp. Let your imagination go and have a ball!

No where close to what it shows
I have already returned this item within 2 days of getting it. So I did not take a pictures. Sorry. The image they show is correct. My review may sound negative but I am just being honest. I ordered 2 of them (1 for me and 1 for my wife). I played with mine for 2 hours attempting to line it up and see the magnification. Here is my 2 cents... 1. It does not lock into place on the IPhone. 2. It has to sit just perfectly to get it to "line up" 3. When you can see an image....if you move....it moves too so you lose the image. 4. I found it frustrating to use and only got a clear image 3 times but it lasted seconds each time. For the price they were asking for this device....I expected more. It was not functionable No locking mechanism Moves around too easily Sliding the the device up and down...just not a way to use itl Nothing like the pictures or videos. They need to go back to the drawing board on this item. The worst part is that I am a Tech Geek and I had issues!! No thanks. They did ship it on time and It arrived but just not worth it.

This is super cool and now I want to take close up pictures of everything!
This is so fun. I went around taking pictures of all sorts of textures in my house, and I look forward to taking it outside in nature. I have a Pixel 6, and the camera part of that phone is thicker than the rest of it which makes some clip-on lenses sort of problematic, but this clip works great. You have to get right against a thing to get it in focus, so I don't think I'll be able to use it for living bugs or anything, but I did manage to get the texture of my cat's nose, a peacock feather, an african violet leaf, a leaf earring, and various flat things.

Fun once you get the hang of it
Four stars because once it's aligned to my camera lense it does take a good photo. Three stars because its slightly overpriced. I have a Samsung Galaxy s25 ultra and lining it up to the camera lense takes a minute. To align on my lense the microscope is not flush with my phone. Once lined up it stays in place. The on off button for the light is a bit delicate and might prove to be an issue in the future. Added a picture of a snowflake I took and ant.

In a perfect world, maybe...
I feel I'm being generous to a fault, giving this product 3 stars, and they're mostly based on good faith that its image quality delivers as promised. I never got that far. The fatal flaw is how it attaches to your phone and aligns with your phone's camera lens. In a single phrase, this can be best described as "trial and error". Emphasis on error. The microscope has a tiny, nearly invisible aperture on its underside that is meant to be positioned carefully and directly over your phone's primary lens. How do you position it? Trial and error until the black areas at the edges of your image are minimized. The scope is held on by a rubber-coated metal spring clip: a detail that the sellers seem reluctant to illustrate. Can you use it with your phone in a protective case? No. Okay, you say, I can live with trial and error; I can live with removing the case -- consider that you have to do this EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO USE IT. If you have to do this every time, the thing you want to photograph, or the light, will have moved on before you can take the shot. You cannot leave it on your phone, unless this phone is to be dedicated to nothing but microphotography. And, if that's how you want to use it, you're far better off with a digital microscope or a camera with a macro lens.

Impressive Inspiration for Students!
This is a great way to get kids excited about their world and the very small things around them! I brought this into my classroom and I swear I could have done this for an hour and I would not have run out of things that they bought to me so we could magnify. It’s a good feeling to see 5th graders getting excited about something they likely never saw before and maybe it will encourage them to explore more! Wonderful Item and the Zoom is incredible!

Difficult to use
I had high hopes for this attachment. The big problem is it is very difficult to use. I could not get it aligned with the lens on the camera with the case on, so I took the case off. Still had a terrible time trying to align it. Then I took the 200X camera out of its holder, placed it directly on top of a coin to photograph it, moved the phone's lens over the 200X back light, and I was able to take one picture. It is below. So, it does work but you need to be creative. I could not get ti aligned or take a picture. When mounted on the phone as intended, if the camera moves at all, it does not line up with your phone and you cannot take a photo. This is not for me.

Impressive
Unbelievable how well this little portable microscope works. Just recieved it but it is well made for iPhones even if it's not a pro! I've included photos of what I have taken with the microscope to justify what this can actually do. This thing allows you to almost touch the area or object you are trying to capture, so don't be discouraged if it's not focusing. Get as close as you can!

Doesn't work with a multilens phones
Lousy product. Doesn't seem to work with Samsung Galaxy S20 FE, which has 3 built in lenses on the back of the phone. The macro lens is too low for the microscope to clip on, making it not feasible to use. I'll be returning this product. Idea was cool but it doesn't work.

Great for the money
This arrived today. Being familiar with macro and micro photography I was expecting a very shallow depth of field and some challenges focussing. Which there are. But for the price, this lens works very well. Here are a few shots I took on my Pixel 6 earlier. You have to be very close to get focus and it won't be great for live, moving subjects. But that's true of dedicated macro lenses that cost far more. Very good for the price.
