I bought this based on other reviews. I wanted a good quality stone to sharpen some tools and an axe. It's so easy to use, the tools and axe are now a lot sharper. It comes with a nice leather belt pouch to keep the stone in which looks great too. The stone is comfortable in the hand, the size of the stone fits well into my hand which makes using it easy. Very versatile and the performance is great. Great value for money.

Works fast and well

Excellent sharpening stone, I think mainly due to it's shape, you can hold it in your hand and move it however fast or slow as you want. I used it for an axe and it's kept it's edge well. If I was working outside I would keep it on my belt, if the edge of the blade became blunt.

Very good bit of kit for sharpening my DeWalt hatchet. Leaves a great edge for chopping firewood for the burner.

Really good quality and easy to use. If recommend buying this for sharpening any type of knife.

Works well working the blade in small circles. My axe was still new so wanted something to keep the steel keen to cut Wood. Easy to hold and sitting with the axe across my legs its easy to work the edge of the blade. Gently working in circles with the rough stone before getting to the polishing. The stone has the right grit to work the axe blade well. Its great to have the pouch for the stone that also goes on the belt. it will be going with me in the next Scout camps!

This is a top quality item and I’m very happy with my purchase.

This leather carry case works great for my Lansky puck sharpener. This product came with a complimentary sharpening stone as well, but that's best used as a paperweight. After sharpening a single tool the 180 grit side had started flaking off the entire surface leaving it INCREDIBLY rough. I didn't want to damage the tool so I started on the 320 side which thankfully stayed smooth, though it did erode at an alarming rate. By time it was done the stone was deeply grooved, and after each pass of the blade I had to wipe off a thick later of sharpening grit. I've used my lansky puck sharpener many times and it works just like new to this day. For any of your sharpening needs the lansky puck is worth the money 100%. If you need a leather case for that stone this is a suitable product, otherwise take your money elsewhere.
