Exotic Wood Pen Blanks 9-Pack (Zebrawood)

I received these zebrawood blanks. They are very nice, they turn very well, though the sanding takes a little bit more intensity. After I was done sanding, it still felt a little rough, until I put code of something on there that is something that I don’t normally do. I had to find some indoor outdoor product to spray on there and help it be better, somewhat smoother. Even with that being said, it was very easy wood to work with. Other than that one part.

Nice wood. Well packed and labeled. Very good deal overall

Great value Looks really good Got 1 that was cracked at the top

The wood that I received is just beautiful and exactly what I needed for my projects.

Gave it 4 stars because they were rough so if your not careful splinters will happen. Otherwise they are as stated and look beautiful

These are great quality blanks. Look great, all labeled fast shipping. Can’t really ask for more.

Exactly what I was looking for

When barrel trimming the wood would just split. Out of the 9 or so blanks only 1 survived to make a pen

I loved this wood for its character and the wonderful pens it produced but having read how this tree has been decimated purley for the sake of money and now now scares this product is I shall not be using it again unless I can be assured it is coming from a sustainable source

First go at turning pens, wood turned nicely, beautiful grain

Nothing

Every piece a winner, although I would classify them as “good” quality. I have purchased olive wood blanks from another source that marketed them as “exceptional” and they were exactly that. These still have great figure to the grain, though.
