MidWest Homes for Pets 48-Inch iCrate for Extra-Large Breeds
This crate is sturdy, spacious, and perfect for extra‑large dogs who need room to stretch out. The metal feels strong and secure, the latches stay in place, and the removable tray makes cleaning simple. Setup is quick — it folds and unfolds without any hassle. It’s big enough for giant breeds to stand, turn, and relax comfortably, and the double‑door design makes placement easy in any room. Great quality and great value for such a large crate.

Very Sturdy Kennel for Small Dogs
Very sturdy and simple to put together. No tools required for assembly. Basically unfolds and clips into place. Be careful not to pinch your fingers though on the last panel. We have a larger wooden crate for our puppy but I was looking for something smaller to provide a safe place for him to sleep as he trains and to provide a safe place for him to stay in the kitchen while I’m cooking. It is lightweight enough that I can just pick it up and move it room to room without collapsing the kennel. Arrived in excellent condition and has a great door latch that is stable and secure. This size is perfect for a 24 inch padded crate mat for him to rest on. I don’t like to just leave the uncomfortable plastic tray as his space to lay but it is easy to remove and clean when needed. The divider that comes with it might work for smaller breeds but would make the space too small for my puppy’s needs. It’s a great size for the car if needed as well.

durable & well made
I have had 10 of these xxl Great Dane 54”crates for 3 years used in my home dog boarding / daycare business. I absolutely love them. The top patent pending L-hook is very valuable as it definitely adds stability to the top. I have had crates without this feature and the top is wobbly and the sides easily bow in at the top (even with zip ties to try to help). The L-hook is worth its weight in gold! The three slide bolt latches on each door is adequate. They are secure, strong, and easy to use. I know it says you will need 2 people to assemble, however I have put these together and taken them down myself multiple times. It just takes a little thought, planning, and creativity. The two door feature is VERY helpful. Some of the crates I have lined up on the wall to use the long side door. In another room I have them lined up to use the short side door. I like to use black zip ties to close and secure whichever of the two doors I am not using including the floppy handle to provide stability and reduce sounds when it shakes a little as they walk around. I like to I like to take a piece of finished plywood and cut it to cover part or all of the crate top to provide a counter for the dog’s food, meds, care sheet, etc. This crate is so tall that I don’t have an issue with dogs jumping up and stealing what is on top, though I am sure it is possible if you have a determined unattended pup. I sand the corners and edges round and smooth, paint it black to match, drill holes, and use black zip ties to attach it. If you are tight on space this shelf is very helpful for storage or at the least convenient for leashes and treats, etc. I don’t care for annoying sounds and so I like to take black zip ties and secure all the edges where two panels come together to increase stability and reduce friction squeaking. It is quite stable as is, however the black zip ties firm everything up and aren’t noticeable unless you are looking for them. I also like to put a piece of padded linoleum, train table grass, or towel between the crate pan and metal floor grid to provide some cushion for the dogs and reduce unnecessary noise from the two rattling together when a dog walks around in them. When the crate sinks down into the carpet it naturally helps with this, but not when it is on a solid floor. Also, I have a piece of underlayment (painted black on top to match) secured with black zip ties through drilled holes in it to the bottom of the crate to prevent rust marks & scratches to the floor, as well as an extra layer of material a dog has to work through if they try to escape through the bottom as the grid is larger than the top and sides. They also can’t rip up my carpet through the bottom or leak liquids onto the carpet if the crate pan develops a crack I am unaware of with a wood layer attached to the bottom. The bottom becomes like a sled and can easily be slid around myself to clean behind it. I take the rubber rollers off before I secure it to the wood underlayment. The crate pans are nice and thick. They do tend to crack in shipping since this is such a heavy product. However they happily and quickly ship me replacement crate pans when this happens. The pans are easy to clean & remove, hold up to light chewing, nail scratching, and cleaners. However occasionally when a dog throws up overnight the high acid in their stomach (which is strong enough to digest bones) will etch the gloss finish off before I can find and clean it up in the morning. Most pee, poo, water & food messes, and most throw up clean off quickly and leave no damage. I use metal crate buckets with back hooks for water and sometimes food and they do scratch off some of the black finish on the exact hook bars, but this is minor and an obvious reason for the wear and tear. Some of the finish also gets rubbed off at the latches, for the same reason of friction use. However the rest of the areas of the crates for the last three years still have its original sharp black glossy finish in tact! If you do have some spots scratched off, a black sharpie can hide a multitude of sins. 😂 The black color is classic and classy. I never noticed any offending odors upon delivery or assembly. The value for the product is excellent and you will get many years of use out of it, probably the life of the dog and more!

Great little carrier
I actually use this as a carrier for my chickens and it works great. Sturdy, easy to transport, and the size is perfect for short trips or temporary holding. Well made and does exactly what I need it to.

Good kennel, even from an energetic super chewing puppy
The first CR l kennel I received was broken, including the packaging which was obviously related several times. I had to return one and reorder it, which meant I ended up spending more money for the second. However, one I received an undamaged one it was wonderful. If I hadn't had the initial problem, this would have received a 5 start review. The kennel is easy to assemble. I didn't have to use the divider because my pup never urinated in her kennel. She is very energetic but the crate has been sturdy. She is a super chwer, bur the kennel is still intact. I wish I purchased a crate with wheels, but when my puppy isn't in it, it moves easily without scraping the wooden floors. I with the doors opened flat against the kennel, but opens pretty far. I'm not sure if there's a way to reverse the direction the door opens, if there is, someone tag me and tell me how.

MidWest Homes for Pets 36-Inch iCrate
The MidWest Homes for Pets 36-inch iCrate is a great choice for medium to large dogs. Sturdy construction with secure latches gives peace of mind, and the foldable design makes it easy to set up or store. The divider panel is a nice bonus for growing pups, and cleanup is simple with the removable tray. Comfortable, well-built, and a great value for training or everyday use.

I was pleasantly surprised, very nice
I never used or liked creates, and have had dogs all my life, I'm 72 and old school,I just adopted a female Chihuahua rescue by police and turned over to the ASPCA,the previous owners where arrested for kicking her down the street,in her dog create trying to kill her, she was trouble girl with a lot baggage, and I thought for sure she would be petrified of the create, since her last owners kicked her down the street while she was locked inside, trying to kill her; but,she loved it and wanted in it before I finished assembling, it's incredible, Thank you, for she's a happy little girl again, and her brother Chihuahua who I also rescued, want to go inside also, 😂 lol,so it worth buying, easy assembling, and not ugly it looks nice in the living room.👍

Way Better Than Other Brands!
I already had a cage the same size as this one, but it honestly doesn't compare—the iCrate is much better quality. Versatility & Setup: I love that it has multiple doors, which gives you more options for how to set it up and where to place it. It was incredibly easy to put together, and the fact that it’s collapsible makes it perfect for storage or travel. Easy Cleaning: One of my favorite features is the bottom tray. It slides out so easily, making cleaning up any messes a breeze compared to other crates I've used. The Verdict: If you have a small breed, this is the one to get. It’s durable, convenient, and the double-door design is a total game changer!

finally big enough
This kennel might even be too big in my dog's opinion — but it's just right. I upsized (despite his apprehension) to this one due to some pending surgeries that I would need to be able to help him stand up after (which would be impossible in the smaller kennel). It is MASSIVE, I could sit in it with him if needed. But it's also finally the right size for him to stretch and stand. • Incredibly sturdy. • Heavy!!! • Assembly: Not a piece of cake to put together alone, but they warn you to have someone else. But honestly, it wasn't that hard either. Feel 100 percent confident in it's ability to secure my dog — or any dog (mine is gentle and uses it as a place to hide — thus he preferred the smaller one at first). But now he • HUGE — this will take up a chunk of floor space (and height into the room). The footprint isn't so much larger than the size down but it feels bigger in the room due to the height. • NOTE: put it together where you want it. Once it's together, this will not change rooms without taking apart.
