This beater is solid. It fits My KitchenAid Pro 5 lift-bowl mixer (model 4KV25HOXBU). An excellent replacement to the standard powder coated beaters that are easily damaged and then unusable.

Happy Baker! This hefty NSF beauty appears to be genuine 304 SS, and fits both our KF26M2CSR and KP2671X, 6QT mixers bowls. [and most other bowl lift models with regular (non 'Tulip') SS bowls] However, we are going to need to take time to re-adjust bowl height e.v.e.r.y time we switch between accessories. We would absolutely purchase this one again if needed. Cut your Butter quickly, keep your dough clean, and Beat your Budder Batter Better with this Baby!

The blade would only go part way on the mixer shaft, it would not lock on. I had to run a 1/2” diameter reamer into the shaft hole to clear out a poorly drilled hole. It only take a a few minutes, if you have the straight fluted reamer. It now works perfectly. So one star rating before the fix and five stars after the fix.

Works well and dishwasher safe

So much better quality than the blade that comes with the mixer. Cleanup is easy and you do not have to worry about the coating chipping off because it is just smooth heavy duty stainless steel. This should last the life of the mixer and beyond.. This was definitely a worthwhile purchase.
