How do you attach it 2 your wall or your counter?

This unique wine bottle opener was created to be mounted to a solid beam or thick wooden wall, and the screws and inserts are included. Not recommended to mount on drywall. If you have tried one before, this corkscrew is a very powerful extracting machine. Screw it into wood or hard surface, not designed to be held up by chalk, and sometimes anchors are not needed. That said, this is a review from another customer: "Lovely product. Change mounting hardware to mushroom head anchor toggle to adhere to Sheetrock only for home applications. "

Can this stay outside without rusting?

Installing our products outdoors with no protection from the elements is not recommended. The product can be installed outdoors for example under an outdoor porch.

Pretty well build, seems durable, works smoothly.

Mounted on the wall by my refrigerator, very solid construction. Bottles fit in nicely and it drives in to the cork and pulls with a little effort. My wife has a little trouble with some of the synthetic corks as they don't always start to move out smoothly, takes a little force to get them moving. Leaves the cork just slightly in the bottle when done. No issues so far.

DO NOT BUY THIS IN U.S.

The tops of American wine bottles are larger than European wine bottles. American bottles do not fit in this opener. It should not have been sold in the US.
