Exactly as described
Had a fan/light on the same circuit in the bathroom. My daughter hates this. Pros: 1. it works. Solved the problem. 2. It was easy to install. I opened up the fan and found the wires with no problem. Followed the instructions and it worked the first time. The unit was small enough to fit inside the existing fixture. Cons: 1. The instructions were a little weak. I figured it out, but they weren't as clear as I would like. 2. The switch for the second circuit is a little thick. I imagine that they are all like this. We didn't mount it on the wall. It sits on the top of the toilet tank. It looks good there. and it works!

Don't be a noob. Practice safe electricity.
Update Jan 2025. Have had this for about 18 months. Have went through three "unique" batteries (type of "23A" which is 12v). That's a new weird sized battery every 6 months with less than daily use. Feels a bit too often to me. Would rather have a larger normal sized battery or maybe put two of these odd little batteries in it. Want to reduce one star, but it works really well, so won't. Orig review: This is one step over a beginner install. You kinda have to know what you are doing, and be familiar with household wiring / best practices. It does require a neutral wire. Once installed, it works great. There is a moment between pressing and the actual light changing. But that is just a factor of how these work. Only complaint is that the switch does not stay in position like a regular switch. This switch bounces back to a neutral position where it is in the middle, instead of either up or down which you pressed last. So, just looks kinda goofy sitting in the middle all the time. Also the plate is thicker than a normal switchplate, so you can tell it is a fake switch if it is sitting next to other "real" switches like mine is. But it is close enough for a town this size.

Stopped working after 9 months
Worked great for 9 months and then it just stopped working. Changed the battery in the switch, but it didnโt help. Planning to contact the seller and see what they can do.

Dies Quickly. Twice.
I purchased this RF switch not once, but twice, hoping that the first experience was just a fluke. Unfortunately, both units failed after just a few months of regular use. Initially, I was impressed with its performanceโeasy setup, solid connectivity, and a compact design. However, after a few months, both switches started experiencing intermittent issues, and eventually, they completely stopped working. Iโm disappointed because I had high hopes for this product based on the features and initial performance. Given my experience, I canโt recommend this RF switch. Reliability is key for any electronic device, and it just didnโt hold up. Iโll be looking for a more durable option moving forward. Save yourself the hassle and consider alternatives!

Perfect for the price.
Easily replaces the more expensive bluetooth switch. Some mods to poolside wet box to make switch fit inside and hang properly. The base needed 2 holes drilled to mount. The top hanger hook completely removed with razor knife in order to use original switch bolt as hanger. Well worth the price I paid. Came preprogrammed but I reset anyways. First try at reapplying breaker power on low voltage DC step down xformer for underwater LED pool lights,, and it turned them on first try. The bottom rocker then turned them off. Here where the fun began. Not sure if this switch was designed for multi speed fan control but. When I tried to turn pool lights on again, it would only power lights after the third time pressing the top rocker. I can get used to that. So all in all a semi easy and economical replacement. BTW the rcv module was installed in outside wet box with step-down xformer.

With pass-through wire, it can control two lights with one switch
This wireless light switch works as expected. I have two recessed lights that I needed to control with this switch, and I originally bought two switches so that I could connect one receiver to each light. As I was connecting a receiver to one of the lights I noticed that the two recessed lights were already connected via a pass-through wire. In the end, I was able to use only one switch to control both lights. For the receiver input, I connected the power line. For the receiver output, I connected the pass-through wire that serves as input to the second light. Instructions were clear enough for me to figure out what I needed to do to achieve my goals. Both lights are now able to be controlled with just one switch, and I was able to return the second switch which I no longer needed. After assembling the unit, the response time it took for the lights to turn on/off was almost immediate. It truly behaved like a wired switch. There is a noticeable "clicking" sound that can be heard each them the switch is turned on, but that doesn't bother me at all. This wireless switch looks very similar to all the other wall switches installed in my house, so i can barely tell them apart. Very pleased with this product.

works fine as a wireless switch
just a note, this uses a 23A battery, so its good to have another handy, it comes with one but just as an extra for when the battery dies. I've used ours for awhile now without issue. The 23A battery was one I didn't have around the house so that's why I mentioned it. I like how the switch just mounts flush and looks like a normal one, it looks good and works fine.

Magic! Saved me time and money
Great hack if you have light fixture that is always running hot. I had a porch light that didnt have a switch and was always on. I think the pull string looks tacky, but this was an easy hack to add a light switch without cutting open any walls. Saved me time and money by not needing to get an electrician out to add a switch
