Does what it needs to do!
This is an elegant, low-cost solution for converting SBUS into 16 independent PWM channels, and it was easy to get working right away. I tested it with a couple different controllers and had no issues either time. The "casing" is just some thin plastic sheet and squishes easily, but I don't think it will be a problem or make it any less durable. pin-to-pin it's about 44mm long, and 27mm wide. I haven't noticed an appreciable difference in battery life with this running as well.

Excellent converter.
So nice to now be able to convert an ELRS receiver to 16 channels !

Not for giant scale RC with ganged high power servos
My first gripe is that it assumes failsafe the moment it is turned on until it receives a signal, and the failsafe positions can't be changed. In giant scale RC, it is common to need to gang servos, and they will each have small differences from servo to servo, so the failsafe position means they will try and kill each other until the proper signal is received. I got around the failsafe problem, it was working in a giant scale aerobatic model, until recently. All of a sudden the ignition is pulsing, the aileron gangs aren't working properly rendering ailerons useless, and is causing excessive current draw. Remove this SBus expander and everything is fine, so something is seriously wrong with it. I am happy that I didn't lose the model the flight before, so it managed to get through that... but, certainly for large aerobatic models, I am going to use something else.

Where is the documenation....
Documentation is nonexistant. Once I found some shred of documentation on another site, and figured some things out, channels 13-16 aren't working.

Watch polarity
The pins are opposite to what you are used to so watch that and it's a great little expansion board. My complaint would be the case it's just a plastic sleeve that's not attached at all so it's constantly wanting to fall out of the little protective sleeve making it kind of hard to put the connections together, other than that I think it does what it's supposed to do

Channel expansion
I use to expand my X8R receiver to 16 channels.

Work perfectly with Frsky X8R
Worked perfectly with Frsky X8R expanding the SBUS signal to 16 Channels PWM. Marking of PC TX is not correct on the cover (reading RX on both sides). but it is correct on the inside PCB as shown in diagram for this product on Amazon.
