♾️/5 stars I knew I was going to love this book before even starting because well...rockstar? Girl hired to break his heart?! Sounded like a whole lot of angst and I was READY. But little did I know, I was going to be hooked from the very first couple chapters. I was so enveloped in the story just by the writing alone but the characters, soon after, captured my whole heart. I fell deeply in love with Nash almost immediately, his inner monologue was so raw and I loved how expressive his POVs were. His character development over the course of the book was nothing short of perfect. I loved how real he was, with his struggles with alcohol and drugs and coping as a whole. I wanted to protect him at all costs. "They only want me when I'm broken." My heart broke for him. He was such a perfectly imperfect and beautiful character. ❤️‍🩹 Nora was also such an amazing character...don't get me wrong what she did HURTED SO BAD. But her character was so good. She was funny and the writing was so well done that I could feel how much dancing mean to her. When we finally got her back story I was a sobbing mess, I felt her pain so strongly and I just wanted to give her a big hug. While this book was so beautiful and the love was so strong, this book broke. my. heart. I was a crying mess through the end of this journey. And I didn't expect his song "rose" to hurt as much as it did. 🥲 Kat broke my heart, sent me through all 5 stages of grief, then healed me all in less than 100 pages. And I would do it all over again just to experience these characters for the first time again. I will be binging this whole series with 0 regrets.

I’ll be honest, that “when he props you up on a ballet barre and has dessert five minutes before he’s supposed to be at a TV interview” video got me and I knew I had to read it. This story is a total rollercoaster, it was fun but emotional and I ugly cried a little bit. Nora and Nash are perfect for each other, there is so much chemistry between them! And that whole rockstar thing was so cool. I devoured this book and got so excited to know that we will be having more books in this world! So if you are having trouble picking your next read… this is it!!!

Absolutely amazing book! I didn’t want to put it down once I started, carried it with me everywhere for days. Such an amazing story with great attention to detail and so consistent throughout, Nash and Nora are beautiful characters I can’t get enough of them, extremely beautiful writing from Kat Singleton, her stories are just perfect :)

It‘s a sweet lovestory though I personally find it a bit boring here and there. The spicy scenes are also not that spicy. But all in all, I think it‘s a nice book if you enjoy a romantic lovestory with just the appropriate amount of spice.

My first reaction was that this book was kind of a mix between 'The Idea of You' and 'Happy Ever After Playlist' with the twist of a big betrayal. Overall it was good but a lot of the characters' "issues" were glossed over and mentioned in blocky dialogue. The ending is kind of what expect it to be but its still cute. I wish there was a little more depth and stronger conflict but it was a fun read overall. It's more of a fun day read. Also, the first page of each chapter is actually a photo from a concert with text over it. It's a detail that I actually really enjoyed. It's very unique
