Add a little bit more water when you mix the product, the more water inserted the lighter the color! As you are applying the second coat, once it’s on the surface you can use a spray bottle to lightly mist the wall, re-smooth, and you’ll receive lighter color variations!

What can I use to seal the cement plaster? (Mainly so when it’s touched there isn’t any dust that falls)

We recommend you use a sealer from Glaze N Seal called Stained Defense. It’s a penetrating sealer, so it will not change the color or add any shine, it will prevent any falling of dust.

Can this be used on block to create smooth concrete finish?

Hello, Yes of course! Clean the block of any dust or loose particles, apply a layer of our Quartz Primer, and then you can apply the Golmex. You might need more than two layers to create a smooth finish if the block is very rough.
