Used in a LE academy, the best training rounds you can get!!!
I used these when I was going through a LE academy and I had to buy some so I could keep up with my training after. These dummy rounds are amazing, and let me tell you why: - Unlike A-Zoom or other brands you WILL not strip or damage the rim of the case (I have A-Zoom the red ones, and after 5 or so cycles they start chipping). These will not get damaged, or cause damage by cycling. - They wont chip or leave paint/particles in your gun (because there is no coating/paint) - Can be washed if they get dirty from being dropped in the dirt on the range. Those are the 2 biggest reasons these are the best dummy rounds out there. Ever. Period. On another note, I like to use these for training and keeps my skills sharp. Any novice shooter who wants to become more advanced these are a must, and also for CCW people. They are perfect for mixing into live ammo for tap-rack and double-feed drills. They are also great because they allow you to self-evaluate when on the range to see if your trigger control is on point, and if you're flinching. Being bright orange and silver allows you to easily identify these as dummy rounds, and being able to see them on the ground. THESE ARE GOOD FOR THOUSANDS OF CYCLES, AND HUNDREDS OF HOURS ON THE RANGE!!! P.S. anyone that says you can't/shouldn't dry fire a striker-fired gun; for one they know very little about guns and two you shouldn't be taking their advice. These dummy rounds have a recessed primer and wont make contact with the firing pin, but like I said before striker-fired guns this is not a concern at all.

No Fail Product
I am happy that I found this brand. I used these snap caps for a class and I had no unnecessary malfunctions. I’ve told my buddies to pick up some also.

Great Item for Firearm Safety
When training for safe firearm manipulation, this type of dummy round makes the most sense. The orange tip makes sure an individual is not loading a live round in to the firearm, and afterwards, is not leaving a non functional one in the magazine or chamber. Also when working to better understand the mechanics of the firearm, I think this type of dummy round affords better safety than the single color snap caps that are also useful, but except for careful use, can be less confusing in magazine fed pistols.

Great Plastic and Metal Training Round.
For blind users unable to see the pictures, note that these have a metal casing/rear and a plastic tip. At first brief feel, they could be mistaken for bullets, but they are lighter and have a plastic tip. However, though this helps them last longer, they are not fully plastic-feeling, so be aware when mixing them with live ammunition. The product description lists them as: "DISTINGUISHABLE - metal case with bright orange ABS plastic insert makes the round highly visible" These are also on the pricier side, with one individual round being over $1, but quality seems decent. The plastic tips are pointed, reminiscent of metal jackets; they are not more open like hollow points. Safe training.

If you own a semi-auto pistol for self-defense, you need these for your training.
What do you do when the gun goes 'click' instead of 'bang' when you pull the trigger? It's something you have to practice so you will respond automatically and correctly if it were to happen during a real incident. These durable dummies have real cases but are filled with orange plastic, so they cycle in your magazines and even load into your gun... But they don't go bang. They can also be used to practice loading/unloading the pistol, mag changes, and other administrative or tactical handling tasks safely at home or in the classroom.

Best dummy rounds available
Very durable and well constructed. They use a real metal casing, unlike some of the competitors. I prefer this over others because the bright orange tips and shiny steel case are much easier to find when they end up the ground during drills. I see others searching for their lost dummy rounds that are hard to see when they land in the grass or roll off to the side. Not an issue with these. Plus the "bullet" part is feels more like solid rubber than hollow plastic, so it doesn't crack and the weight is closer to the real thing.

Shorted 2 Rounds
Firstly I will say the caps themselves are of decent quality, no issues with their use. However buyer beware bought a 20 pack, however I only received 18.

Excellent training Tool worked flawless in my Beretta APX, great for range day put one in every mag and you can practice tap, tap, rack when the dummy round shows up. Would definitely purchase again. Made in the USA. No brainer.

Didn’t fit well, jammed in my gun had to take the gun apart to get this out. Not recommended if you love your firearm.
