Help Your Kids with Science: A Unique Step-by-Step Visual Guide

I love the “help your kids with” series. They are perfect for 3rd-5th grade. It’s a quick, detailed explanation with good illustration. I highly recommend for homeschool or for kids interested in extra reading.

Love this book-I am a High School Biology teacher and like to keep various non-text book books in my class room to help students who may be struggling with the concepts. This book has a great layout and wonderful pictures to aid in understanding and is easy to read even for students who may struggle with reading.

The "Help Your kids" series on Math, Language and Science is an excellent resource. We initially came across these in Sams club where we bought the Math and Language ones. The Science one was not available in Sams and we ordered it through Amazon. The quality of the material is excellent. Topics are covered in a concise fashion but not that brief either. We really liked the coverage of all the different topics.

This book has great illustrations, yet many of the terms are still unclear to children. Its attempt to remain basic in terminology and concepts is evident, however the execution is still confusing to children, and even adults.

This is a good outline for an independent and/or group study. I purchased thinking it might be for my younger daughter but it really has a lot of deep topics for older kiddos (middle school range, I would say). My daughter is a 7th grade homeschooler and uses it as a guideline for her independent study in science. Great illustrations.

I have purchased a lab set of this book. Great basic resource

I ordered this to help me and my grandson with his science class. It is done very well with simple to understand areas he is learning this year.

This is a good overview of a broad array of science topics. It provides concise facts with engaging graphics. Not a comprehensive treatment, but interesting enough to encourage further study through Google or Khan Academy. A good primer for adults as well. Graphics and presentation make it engaging.

This is a truly wonderful book. It is easy to read and covers the basic concepts of the three main sciences. As an adult learner who is due to sit their GCSE Chemistry, this book has helped to consolidate my learning. I would recommend this book to everyone: young children, anxious adults, and for last minute exam revision.

We got the math book for free from a buy nothing group this is a well loved easy to use book! My daughter wanted the English book and the science book! Can’t go wrong getting these.

This book is written with clear explainatin and full colour illustration to help understand sciencetic concept. My son and me like to tslk about science topics which he has not learned at school yet, in duch time, i found to hard to explain him concept without sny good refference book for kids. This book leads kids step by step to understsnd from atomic behavior to solor system. Now my son has clear idear how the water matter change into liquid to ice, why it volume expand. Recommend to everybody who love science.

My daughter attends a public school in Hamburg. There is 0 science there so she sometimes flips through this book. All I can offer her at this point other than videos off of youtube on science. Nice and colorful and good for a child who has outgrown preschool and first grader books for science. I don't use it to help her with science. Just she uses it to browse though.
