These work as expected. Fit our H track light easily. Shipped and arrived very quickly. However, curious that 3 of these, 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3" each, were shipped in a 18" x 16" x 12" box with 61 bubble air bags when a very much smaller box and very much less packaging would have saved a lot of cardboard and plastic.

This was EXACTLY what I needed. I make my own lighting fixtures and sell on an orange site and soon on amazon. A customer wanted to use my pendant lamps on track lighting and this was the magic device to make it happen. It was easy to wire (you need to wire but cap the ground if your fixture only uses 2 wires) and provides a great easy to tension mount for the hanging wire. Easy to install and move in the track - the customer is delighted and so am I!

These worked perfectly. However, in contrast to the adapters that I needed to replace [because they died] I had to turn them counterclockwise to engage rather than clockwise. I recall reading that some had difficulty turning them into the tracks...that could be the reason. Be sure to turn these adapters in the right direction. They have been flawless and having the on/off feature on each adapter is a plus.

These are well made units that do what they say they will. That said, it would have been nice if they had included slip-on connectors for the ground and neutral connections. However, those are not hard to get, and soldering will work as well. Then the instructions should have done a better job of noting which connection goes with which wire (i.e., live, ground and neutral). If you're not familiar with this track wiring configuration, a little online homework will be useful (fyi - the green wire is the live connection).

Product came with no instructions - could not see a safe way to hang a pendant light from it. It has no labeling. USA, Canada and EU all have labeling requirements for electrical devices.

The small terminals others have complained about has been resolved by the supplier adding stranded wire leads with terminals connected to those terminals. I had 1 pull off easily but was able to push it back on. Just be careful not to tug on these leads as they come off the terminals fairly easily. Comes with wires nuts too.

I live in NYC and since my landlord won’t help remove the cancer that is oppressive track lighting, I removed the fixture components (which are easy to pop back in when I move out), and made my own pendent light in their place. Ive yet to find attractive track lights so ended up buying a nice glowy pendent light, bought some wire cutters, and wired it to this adapter, and popped it in. This way I could still 1) keep using the wall switch, 2) my quality of life is better with a light that doesn’t crush my soul, and 3) my landlord gets to keep his heinous track on the ceiling. I was looking to update my track lighting with a modern pendant, and unfortunately, track lighting pendants are both over priced and pretty dated looking. So when I found these, I was able to use any pendant of my choice and the results were fantastic. I cant compliment them enough!

I bought everything in the photo from Amazon. I wanted to use the lights as pendant lights in my kitchen. So I bought all the parts, the track, the wiring and the adapter. Everything worked perfectly.

Great adapter for adding a pendant light to a track, it fit perfectly with the Hampton Bay tracks obtainable from HDepot since some of the track parts were not in stock on Amazon. It requires the purchase of small crimp connectors 18-22 gauge which i found at CTire. It has a three conductor connection so the track requires a ground conductor as well as neutral and line.

Excellent. Allowed us to hang two (very lightweight) pendants from our tracks lights. I really don’t have much use for the on/off switch at ceiling level.
