My first time using a styling powder and I'm impressed
This is my first time using a styling powder. In the past, I've always used gels and pomades. the problem is, those often left my hair, at least initially not looking dry. That's not a problem right out of the shower but when you're starting off with dry hair, having to either wait or bring a hair dryer into the process of finishing up is a hassle. This stuff goes on like a light powder and after working into the hair a bit, it somehow makes the hair stiff and workable for styling. Initially, i was concerned about the quantity due to the listed weight and that is what you get but the powder itself is light and you only need a little so while it may seem pricey, one tube of this is going to last most guys with short to average hair quite a while.

Easy to use, helpful, healthy, and expensive
Embracing your natural texture is always an option, but sometimes you just want that sleek, straight look. If you, like me, recently experienced a surprise wave (pun intended) in your hair texture after a haircut, this review of this spray might be helpful! Straightening Out the Unexpected: My hair has always been stubbornly straight, but a recent haircut unleashed a hidden wave I never knew existed! This straightening spray came to the rescue in my quest to retrain my hair to lie flat. Does It Deliver? Absolutely! The spray effectively straightens my hair, leaving it smooth and sleek. I'm hopeful that with consistent use, it will help "retrain" my hair to behave the way it used to. A Word on Texture: There is a slight trade-off to consider. The spray does leave a somewhat sticky feeling on the hair. However, this is somewhat to be expected with this type of product. After all, it is designed to mimic the effects of ocean saltwater, which can have a similar texturizing effect. Lighter Hold, Bigger Win: A big advantage of this spray is that it feels much lighter than traditional hair gels. Gels can weigh down your hair and leave it feeling stiff. This spray provides hold without sacrificing manageability. One Con is that the bottle is so expensive. A $16.00 price tag is nothing to sneeze about. Overall: If you're looking for a way to straighten your hair without the heavy, sticky feeling of gels, this spray is a great option. It delivers effective straightening with a lighter hold, and the slight texturizing effect is a reasonable trade-off for the beachy-hair feel it creates. Plus, it might just help you retrain your hair to lay flat.

Nice texture but strong scent
I really like the texture this Salty Ape Sea Salt Spray gives my hair, but the scent is just too strong. The scent doesn't dissipate either. The spray is almost like a light mist, which made it hard to know how much to put in. My daughter and I tried it in dry and wet hair. I liked it better on dry hair. It tamed frizz and gave it good texture. Its hard to describe, but the scent is more manly than fruity or even sea salt scent. So although I like the look and feel of my hair, I really don't like the scent.
