Essential for a Seafrog Housing
Comes in a nice small case with spare O-rings. Easy to use, and absolutely necessary

Got my pump to the sea-frog underwater case. This is what comes in the order Just waiting for my sea-frog case for my Sony a6300

Saved my camera
I wasn’t sure I needed this, but it turned out to be essential. I had never shot with a housing before, so I went through all the setup of silicone grease on o rings, etc etc. The vacuum is annoying to pump because the handle is so small, but on the second day, I missed an eyelash across the main o ring. I had pumped the housing to green and was about to jump off the boat when it went red. Saved me $3k in camera gear. The SeaFrogs housing was fantastic, 10% the price of everyone else’s, and I got incredible shots of whale sharks, mantas, and dolphins. 11/10.

Nice design until the battery needs changing
Been using the pressure sensor on my sea frogs housing for about 60 dives. The battery died - no big deal right especially since the sensor kit comes with spare battery n a handy little screwdriver? Well...it would be easy if the screws could be removed. Multiple folks tried. Could only back out 1 screw. The other two wouldn't budge...and the screws themselves are so fragile the heads stripped. Simple design, but not a great design in hindsight. Time to find a non-Sea Frogs alternative.

Isn't comparable with TG-7
The camera fits into the housing super snug and won't seat properly all the way. The housing button for the camera's power button and shutter lender do not line up.

Works well, not expensive considering the cost of damage it can prevent.
After spending a good deal of money on a housing, strobe, and more for a mirrorless camera I plan on using for SCUBA diving I didn’t really want to spend another $100 or so on this device, rather than on more photo toys. Then it hit me: this relatively inexpensive device may help me detect and prevent housing leaks that might ultimately ruin more than $1,000 worth of stuff. Works easily and as advertised on my Sea Frogs/Salted Line housing. Knocked 1 star off rating because you really have to pump this gizmo a lot to get it to show the green “all’s well” light.

Don’t forget to replace the test plug
This kit gives plenty of piece of mind to know you’ve sealed your camera housing correctly. Totally worth the price. Beware, though. When you’re done testing, make sure you put the test plug back on. I was in a hurry one time and forgot to replace it and leaving the test port open defeats the whole point of the housing. A design improvement SeaFrogs could make on their housings is to put a hole in the test plug and a lanyard between the plug and the housing. That way this hanging plug would be more obvious than just an empty test port.

This vacuum pump is light and small, easy to carry. It provides safety for diving without water ingress.

Une pompe à vide vendue 100€, le vendeur est très bien et le produit conforme. Mais je trouve le prix aberrant et qu'il n'y ai pas une autre marque à réaliser ce type d'objet.
