Cute, transferable, and rugged if you want to modify it to refillable use.
The pens don't start right all the time, but I fixed that when the ink finally ran out, by jamming some sections of rubber cord from a hand sanitizer bottle to shore up a paper mate ink insides that is in there now, and the pen which the sticky stuff is transferable multiple times, works, and will be refillable forever, and is very popular with this supervisor for the same use.

Flawed design
The pens easily get stuck in the base and pull it apart, I even tried to split the pen holder still the pen gets stuck and pulls off the base I thought about gluing the base together but have not tried that yet

Love it so far
Cute, stands out and functional. Happy face base is larger than I thought it would be--almost 2" wide and almost 2-1/2 inches tall. You need that much space for the adhesive backing. Pen swivels out of the way--which is nice. Black coil has great stretch to about 3' long. Can't beat the price either. Hope this helps!
