SUNBA 4K PTZ Security Camera Outdoor, 20X Optical Zoom PoE IP Camera with AI ...

Having purchased two other Sunba PTZ units - the professional series ones - I had high hopes for this more compact version. However, for me the main problem was that the control software was not the same as the first two units, if there is a weakness with the camera ranges, then each unit may have a different control app / method of connection depending on model, so be aware if you already have a unit, that this unit if for you. I am sure Tech support would answer any query before a purchase. That said, it was again well made, and tech support was very helpful with advice, but I did end up returning the unit ( Easy to return no issues ) for another professional model so the one app controls the lot. Still if this is your first 'Sunba' unit, I am sure it would be good value for money.

I have fitted a number of these cameras and on the whole they are good value for money. I install the predominantly with Hik Vision NVR's and they do tend to be recognised and auto installed most of the time. Sometimes you need to manually switch them to ONVIF. The main issue I find is that they more often than not need a firmware upgrade to cure one minor niggle or another. Whilst this isn't a big problem if you know..... its that there doesn't appear to be one latest firmware upgrade for each camera which fixes all the problems. The firmware off the Sunba site fixe one of the older cameras, but there is also a firmware fix to cure the white out issue. My latest pair of cameras didn't work with either of the above firmware release... but after a message so [email protected] Robin on the support desk pointed me at the right firmware which solved my problem. Only niggle is that the PAN left and right are swapped around....... so 9/10 for Robin and support, 5 out of 10 for R&D - how hard can it be to get left and right the right way around. Last but not least - Sunba please make all the firmware releases available for download, whilst I am glad the problem it solved it cost me 2 trips to the client site to get the fix sorted out. Great cameras for the price point - just remember to ask Sunba for the right firmware if something doesn't work to save you tearing your hair out.

Very disappointed with purchase. Did return to Amazon for refund, thankfully. Bad camera sensor and megapixel ratios. User interface dreadful. IR beams inadequate. Absolutely everything about this PTZ is very poor. High price paid should provide a more premium product.

For the cost it's just about acceptable. Standard video is very poor both day and night compared with professional brands. With many adjustments to hue/saturation/contrast/brightness and more importantly the changes from H265 to H264 & up the bitrate to 8192, it's a usable PTZ with adequate 20 x optical zoom. Overall I'm disappointed with the purchase and wouldn't buy another.

Buen producto y excelente soporte. Olvidé el password de acceso a la camara y contacté por email con sunba tech y Robin de soporte técnico fue de gran ayuda.

Por un lado es una gran cámara muy profesional y a buen precio. Por el otro no sirve para nada y tiene muchos problemas. Cosas buenas: la calidad de la imagen, el zoom, la velocidad, tiene PoE... Cosas malas: La imagen sólo se ve cuadrada, en 4:3, 5MP. Esto está bien pero ahora la relación de aspecto mas extendida es 16:9 y claro, cuando la ves en un dispositivo conesta relación de aspecto, la imagen se ve deformada, extendida. Por otro lado, la imagen por la noche es en color, pero no enfoca, siempre desenfocada la imagen. El sistema de gestión o el firmware son muy malos, mejor dicho, horrorosos. No sirve para nada. Hay más cosas malas pero en general, esta última hace que la vaya a devolver. Necesito algo más profesional y esto no lo es. No la recomiendo, además el precio que tiene es algo elevado.

Diese Kamera samt seiner App ist eine Katastrophe … Zuerst fällt nach kürzester Zeit die Audioverbindung aus (ca. 1 - 2 Wochen ). Danach ist keine Speicherung der Alarmbilder mehr möglich (ca. 1 - 2 Monate) … den Abschluss bildet der Gesamtausfall (ca. 3-4 Monate) der Kamera. Ich erlebe diesen zeitlichen Verfall nun schon bei der zweiten (mittlerweile reklamierten) Kamera. Derzeit bin ich bei der zweiten Phase angelangt … mal gespannt wann nun die 3. Phase, der Gesamtausfall eintritt. Chinesenbilligschrott eben …. Die eigentlichen Leistungsdaten der Kamera sind, wenn sie funktioniert schon beeindruckend…. Die Lebensdauer ist es nicht !!!
